Bird in the cage

Jinri eyed Chanyeol who was walking in the room, preparing to leave to his work as the morning came. She didn't make a movement while sitting on the bed. She tried to help him like she used to, but he refused her today.

He turned to look at her who was looking down at the floor. He might be selfish and foolish in other's eyes. But he was doing for his heart and his heart is her.

" Jinri..", she immediately looked up to him as her name slipped out of his lips after a silent night. " Come here..", he asked and she pressed her lips together before standing up to walk towards her husband.

He handed her a necktie as she reached near him. Jinri looked at the necktie and then to him, but finally, she took it from his hand. She wrapped it under his collar and tied it. He raised his hand to her cheek and held it gently. Jinri was, honestly, afraid at his touch after knowing Chanyeol has changed into a cruel man.

" You know how much I appreciate you, right?", he started. She lifted her eyes to look at him, and she immediately looked at the necktie back when she saw his eyes. " Inn.".

" I didn't even touch you in the rough way because I'm worried you might break down like a glass in my hands.. ", he said again.

" But Chanyeol..", she looked up to him as her hands landed on his chest. " I'm not a doll which is emotionless.".

He shot a smile that made her feel scarier, he moved his hand down to her neck that sent the shiver down to her spine. She was nervous to death as he tightened his grip on her nape.

" Ah.", she was gasped as he pushed her into him by the nape. Her hands were sandwished between their chests and Jinri's chin was set on his shoulder.

He bent a bit down closer to her, " Yeah.. You're not doll.. You're a bird that I'm feeding.. And I've decided to put you in the cage.. From now on, I forbid you to go outside of this house.", he whispered into her ears.

Jinri pushed him away with a frown on her face, " You're mad, Chanyeol. I'm a human! You can't control me like that.", she yelled. But all he gave was a smile and nothing more.

" Don't smile like that.", she walked towards him again and cupped his face with her palms. " Chanyeol.. Please don't be like that. You're ruining yourself just for me. Please come back to sense now.", she said.

He smiled again, " I'll be back.. ", he pressed his lips against her forehead and removed her hands on his face. Then, he walked out of the room grabbing his bag. Jinri broke down on the floor, she didn't know how to manage him. She had destoryed her husband.

Jinri felt weaker since two days ago like something kept her dragging down. She didn't feel like eating and she vomitted a lot. Chanyeol, being busy, he couldn't take a look on her. And Jinri was good enough to hide her sickness in front of him.

But today, she couldn't stand it anymore. She needed to breathe well. She walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen. She opened the fridge and took the water bottle from it. Pouring the water into a glass, she could feel her hands were weak. While she was pouring the water into her carven, Victoria entered the kitchen.

" Oh, Jinri. You need something?", she asked as she walked towards the girl.

" No.. I just wanna get a glass of water.", she answered while putting the bottle back into the fridge.

" You get sick?", Victoria pulled her hand and made the young girl to face her, she placed her palm on her forehead to check her temperature.

" There isn't any fever.. But why are you so pale? You aren't feeling well?", asked Victoria.
