Unknown Blank (Exo Chanyeol)

As soon as Chanyeol opened his eyes, he felt the dizziness hit him harshly that made him goarn. He messaged his temples with his fingers closing his eyes back.

He then turned to his side, it was blank. She wasn't there and her space was filled with emptiness. He felt a new feeling which he never encountered before and he was sure that it was the feeling which his wife feels whenever she wakes up without him in the bed. This is the feeling of emptiness.

He regreted for being such a bad husband for her. He regreted for not able to give time to her. He regreted for letting her go this easily.

He looked at the door when he heard the door clicked opened. He found his wife coming in with a tray in her hands. After closing the door, she walked towards him, without any words. He sat up on the bed, letting his feet touch the floor.

" This is the lemon and honey. Drink it. It'll erase your dizziness.", she said after placing the tray on the nightstand. Chanyeol looked at the glass in the tray and then to her, while he was still sitting in the bed.

Without even looking at him, she turned to the other side and tried to leave with the way she came in.

" Jinri.", she stopped as his husky voice hit her eardrums.

" It's.. The lipstick stain you saw last night.. It's not like you think.. I didn't do anything except drinking outside.", he said. Jinri clasped her hands together tightly when she heard his explantion.

She had many question to ask him. Why that stain on his shirt if he just drank? Why he got those wounds like he got into a fight? But she didn't ask, " .. Alright..", she said it once she closed her eyes.

Chanyeol sighed, he expected her to hit him with many suspectful questions. It would make both of them feel better but Jinri was using her wise head. He got up from the bed and held her arm, then he spun her body to face him. Jinri was strong, she could look into his eyes when they faced.

" Don't do like that. I'm tired.", he said.

" Then rest if you're tired.", she replied.

" You're making me restless. Your images keep appearing in my eyes and your voice echo in my ears. It's even hard for me to breathe.", he said, staring into her dark brown orbs. Instead of replying him, she avoided his eyes by averting her eyes to the floor.

" Jinri.. I don't want us to ruin each other like this.. Now, we're worse than the strangers. We keep this crack to the break, it shouldn't be. We love each other, aren't we? But now, what happened to us?", he said.

" Yeah. We loved. I loved you to death. But..", she looked up to him again, " .. you ruined it.. You ruined my love prettily... You don't love me even as much as you love your work. But I endured it a lot since I'm your wife, I've to understand you. But you kept breaking my hopes. I hoped that you would look me back someday.. But you didn't.. You kept ignoring me like I'm a doll.", she said. Her tears were in her eyes but they didn't come out, she didn't want to be seen weak. Those times were like a hell to her whenever he ignored her.

" I'm sorry.. I'm sorry for being a bad man.. But can we make it work again? I promise I will try my best for you.. for filling my blank..", he said closing his eyes choking his pains back.

Finally, when he opened his eyes, he found her crying in silence. She raised her hand to wipe the tears out of her cheeks, " You think it's easy? It may be easy for you.. but not for me.. For me, I can't forget easily those pains you gave. They follow me everywhere I go.. You think your words can heal my heart?.. And.. I said not to give the broken promises.".

" It's not a broken promise like I gave before. I swear. I love you, Jinri. I loved you before and I love you now. Then, I'll love you until my last breath. So I'll try to protect my love and heal your love. I believe that you still love me, Jinri.. You can't hate me that easily.. I know how much you loved me..", he said.
