Chapter 6 ~

"Land! Oh how I missed you! I'm never leaving you again!" Jia cried when we were let out of the car. She slumped down, like she was bowing to an invisible earth god. I swear, she was on the verge of making dirt angels and kissing the asphalt. I chuckled and patted her back. She was going to do this at the airport, but we got swept away by security. Its bugging me, but I'll just brush it off. For now.

"Come on Jia, it wasn't that bad," Bailey calmly said. I let out a short bark of laughter. "Yeah, right. You were pale and gripping the seat like you were forced to watch a recorded Justin Beiber concert when you were awake and fast asleep most of the flight," I replied smoothly.

"W-well I-I.....shut up," Bailey blushed and looked away, using her black hair as a curtain. Suddenly interested in a concrete wall and her rainbow highlight that framed the right side of her face. I chuckled and grinned. Lia - 1 Bailey - 0. There was a few apartment buildings and then the rest was just regular japaneese houses. I looked up the giant stone stairs that were in front of us. 'Please god no.....' I begged in my mind. I looked over to my brother.

"Please tell me our new house isn't up those stairs," I whined. He grinned evilly and hoisted his two army duffel bags over his shoulder. My green eyes widened and I looked between him and the stairs like it was a tennis match.

"All the way," he replied cheerily. His light cat-like green eyes sparkling with amusement. Everyone but him has like 3 or 4 suitcases or duffel bags filled to the brim with clothes and cosplay outfits. Yes, we like to cosplay.

"There is no way in hell that I'm carrying all of my stuff up there," Jordyn said, while her grey-blue eyes scanned the endless staircase. All of us hummed in agreement and stared at my bro. He just shrugged his shoulders and started to climb. I sighed and picked up the heaviest looking bag and then picked up one of lighter my ones. I turned around and Jia smiled at me gratefully while she fiddled with her long, braided black hair. 'Must be her heavy ass bag,' I thought, 'Oh well.'

I reluctantly followed my brother's moving form. He sure can climb fast when he wants too. Once I reached the last platform, before a decent sized house dominated the top, there was a winding path heading off to the right. I saw my brother coming back down the path, so I headed up that way.

"Just keep going, its not that far," he told me when we passed. His short dark brown army cut hair slightly glinting with sweat. How is he sweating?! He only had two bags, that aren't really that heavy! Did you run a marathon in two seconds or something?! No? I didn't think so. I just nodded, adjusted my grip not the bags, and pushed forward. 'I'm the one who should be sweating, since I'm carrying this heavy bag,' I thought grimly. 'Wait. Why am I getting all worked up? Oh well.' I shut off my brain and focused on my little trek. There were no other paths branching off this one, which was nice so I wouldn't have to wait and tell the others. After a minute or so, a charming house came into view.

It's huge and entirely constructed of stone on the outside. I stood there gaping at how beautiful our new house looked. I walked up the stone stairs and found myself on the front porch. A giant wooden door with graceful window panes stood tall and proud before me. I opened it with ease and stepped foot into the foyer.

The floor is a warm colored wood, but there are multiple rugs protecting it from possible debris. There's some coat racks and a few benches lining the wall so you can sit down and take off your shoes. In front of me, there is a japanese styled door. It is made of a cream colored paper-like stuff and has a wooden grid pattern to support it. One of the two doors was pushed to the right and allowed entry to what I'm assuming is the living room and dining room.

I couldn't see much, since there's thick curtains on the windows, but I saw that Brad had placed his bags on the floor a few feet in front of me. I did the same and walked outside, ready to help with the baggage and later on some personal furniture and whatnot.
