Sorry for the late update! I've been meaning to update for a while now but I've been busy getting stuff ready for graduation, anyway here's the next chapter! Remember to vote and comment i love to hear feed back!:)
I sat up straight in my chair, Im not going to let him intimidate me. He walked over to his side of the table and sat down. He put his elbows on the table and stared at me for a while. I shifted under his gaze, and looked away, it was extremely uncomfortable.
"It's nice of you to join me this evening." He said.
"It's not like I had a choice." I glared at him.
"That is true. I trust Asten treated you well?"
"I was man-handled!" I snapped.
"We do what must be done to follow through with our orders." He leant back in his chair.
"Why am I here?" I demanded.
"Because my dear you are special."
"Well if you are holding me for ransom I assure you that my father will give you what you want just turn
this vessel around and he will give it to you as soon as we dock." I said. He chuckled at me and looked up from the table."My dear, we aren't holding you for ransom, you see we need you. Not your father's money. Although it
was tempting to potentially hold you for ransom that is not why you are here.""Then why am I here? I have been trying to figure it out since you stole me."
"In time." He said.
"In time? I have done my waiting!" I stated raising my voice. "I expect answers and I want them right now, I will not move from this spot until i get them, and I most certainly won't take any orders from the pathetic excuse of a pirate that you are! You have taken me from my home and nobody on this godforsaken ship will tell me why!" I yelled standing up from my chair. Before I could even think about moving out of the way a knife went buzzing by my ear from across the table and sunk into the wall behind me.
"You will not talk to me like that!" He said standing up. My glare matched his as I refused to sit down and let him win.
"You will not tell me what to do!"
"You will treat me with respect!" He yelled.
"I will treat you with respect, when you treat me as your equal! But by all means captain keep acting like a savage and so will I." He sat down and smiled at me.
"Your courage is refreshing my dear. The only one who has enough courage to stand up to me is my poor excuse of a brother, and I assure you if he wasn't my blood he would have been thrown overboard a long time ago. Sometimes the temptation to throw him out into shark infested waters is overwhelming." He smiled.
"You mean you would kill your own brother?" I questioned.
"Yes if it's necessary then I will, but I still need him, he is of great use to me. Even if he is as weak as they come. He is the only living family member I have left, and when it boils down to trusting my brother or someone else I will always choose my brother, he is my blood after all. I show no mercy to the crew however, if they do me wrong then they pay with their life." I stood there contemplating his words. He was barbaric. "You are here because you are going to help clear my name, and save the crew."
"Why me?" I asked.
"Because you're the one she wants."
"who is she?"
