I stepped off the ramp and made my way up the dock, the further I got away from the ship the thicker the crowd got. I passed by a few stands and saw people selling all sorts of different things, like jewelry, fish,  clothing. Some stands sold things that I had never seen or herd of before. turning corners here and there I made sure I knew which direction the ship was. Around every corner there was something new, there were blacksmiths, bakers, and on every corner there was a small tavern, I  came to a stop when I heard some music playing and glanced around to see a man that stood by a lamp post playing a violin, he was dressed in raggedy clothing and was missing a shoe, by his feet there was a hat were he collected any spare change. I wanted to go up and give him some money but I had non to give. Instead of traveling deeper into the market I stayed to watched the man playing the violin, he was bouncing with the happy tune he was playing but when no one payed him any attention, he slowly stopped playing and sat down. He picked up a rum bottle and took a long swig, and pl then started playing a sad tune and I couldn't help but feel bad for the man. A sudden feeling of someone watching me became apparent and I shifted my gaze past the man with a violin to see two tall men watching from the alley behind him.

They stared at me with hungry expressions in their eyes that was unyielding, it made me feel uncomfortable and I decided I overstayed my welcome so I started walking back towards the ship. I glanced over my shoulder when the feeling of being watched didn't fade, both men had stepped out of the alley and had started following me.  I was so entranced by Port Lair that I hadn't realized that I had lost sight of the ship and the ocean all together.  I quickened my pace and started making different turns, hoping that each turn I took would lead me back to the ship. I started to panic when I saw that the men had gotten closer to me so I ran. I looked back and saw them break into a run after me. I made turns down different roads and tried to lose them but they were to quick. I came to an abrupt stop when I ran into an alley that ended with a giant brick wall in front of me. A dead end. I turned around to see the men stop behind me. "What do we have here? Where you be off ta in such a hurry missy?" The one on the right spoke. He was tall and bald, his cloths were stained with all sorts of grubby looking colors and his shoes were well worn. The man on the left looked no better, his brown hair was knotted and greasy.

"I am just on my way back to my ship, I realized that we are departing any second and I can't stick around so if you gentlemen would please excuse me." I said taking a step to move around them.

"We can't let you do that miss." said the one the left and I knew I would have to try to fight my way out. "You see, me pal Jerkins here is a very lonely man and we was hopin you'd be as so kind as to help em feel not so lonely anymore." He smiled a yellow toothy smile. I was repulsed! "Over my dead body." I said sternly. They gave each other a wicked look and turned back to me.

"We was hopin you'd say that." The took a couple of steps towards me. I quickly looked around and found a broken wooden box and grabbed a piece of wood from it, a rusty nail was stuck out from the bottom of my weapon making it look deadly if it came into contact with skin.  They let out a chuckle and moved in on me. Assessing my situation I swung my weapon into the side of the man named Jerkins leg and he tumbled to the side. I tried to make a run for it but the other man caught me by the collar of my shirt and knocked to me to the ground. I screamed and tried to run away but it was no good. I clawed, scratched and bit but nothing seemed to help my scenario, in my attempt to get free from their grubby hands one of them had grabbed my head and hit it against the ground. A loud gun shot sounded around us and the men stopped what they were doing but had a firm grip on my arms. I looked up to see Obsidian and Asten standing in the entrance to the alley.

"Let. her. go." Obsidian growled.

"Well, well, well if it isn't Captain Aurelian, and his sidekick. Haven't seen the likes of you in years." Aurelian?
