ShadOuge: A Longing Love {UNDER HEAVY EDITING}

A year. It's been a year since the day she died. After her house was rebuilt, I began to stay there. I haven't left. I go out every  now and again. I just don't want to see anybody. She was my everything. Now, I have nothing.

"Shadow?" I hear a voice call my name from outside the door. "What?!" I yell. I don't want to see anyone! I just want to be ALONE! I don't want to love again. "I think..." He says. His next words are the best words I have heard in over a year. "I  can bring Rouge back."

I don't even wait to hear his next words. I open the door to see Sonic. "How?" I ask nervously. "With the chaos emeralds. We've been tracking them down for the past year. Sorry it took so long." He says with a smile. I look behind him to see everyone. They all helped me. They all loved her. As a friend. "All we need to do is focus on what she looked like and the emeralds will bring her back to life." It sounds to good to be true! "There is a catch.." He continues. And here it comes. "She has to be around an emerald at all times. She can only not be around one for a limit of time."

All my dreams for the past year are coming true. I'm getting her back. My love. "Ready?" Sonic asks me. "Just get on with it!" Amy yells. We begin. I think of Rouge. Her sparkling blue eyes, her snowy fur, and of corse, her soothing voice. "Chaos Control!" We both yell. The emeralds begin to shine brighter by the second. With a slow flash of light, I silhouette of light forms in the center of the emeralds. It looks just like her. Flash. 
Something appears. It's her. "R-Rouge?" I call her name. Please let her remember me. "Sh-Shadow? Is that...where am I?" Her voice is as soft as before. "Rouge!" I hug her tightly. I never want to let her go. "I love you!" I yell at the top of my lungs in joy. Why did I say that out loud?!
