I take the note to Will and see if he can decipher it. I know that he can. He was an Erudite. I knock on his door and hear a thud from the other side. The door then opens.

"What was the thud?" I asked.

"I tripped over one of Christina's shoes. What do you need?" He asked.

"I was wondering if you could figure out what the message on this paper is trying to say." I said handing him the paper.

He takes the paper and reads it. It then looks like he is trying to think.

"It's probably telling us that this whole thing was a prank. Erudite invading and making us run like wild chickens was a prank." He said.

"That is super dumb." I said.

"But I have no clue who pulled the prank. It could have been Erudite or one of the other Dauntless members. We don't know who left this note, but we'll need to find out." He said.

"And how are we going to find out?" I asked.

"We'll need to go to the control room and look at footage. If that shows us nothing, then we run tests on the paper. I know we touched it, but who ever placed it, their DNA is still on the paper as well. Unless they wore gloves." He said.

"So, do we go to the control room first?" I asked.

"Yes." He said.

We left his place and walked to the control room. Will opened the door and I followed him in. He sat at a computer and I stood behind him. He types in some stuff. Footage of my apartment comes up on the screen. Will has it on fast foward. Once there is a blur of a person, he stops it and rewinds it. He then plays it.

The figure looks like Eric, but O can't see the face. So I'm not sure if it's him or not. The person looks up at the camera and its Eric. He sets the paper down and leaves.

Why Eric? Why my apartment? And just in general, why?
