Chapter 24

Previously: Christina was trying to get Tris to go shopping with her.

Later that night, I had Tobias go get me food from the cafeteria because Christina is still probably on a hunt for me. I waited for him on the couch. I know Christina won't stop bugging me until I go shopping with her. That will not happen today.

"I'm back." Tobias said.

"Good, did you run into high hell terror?" I asked.

"Yeah, she asked if you were still 'sick'." he said.

"What did you tell her?" I asked.

"I said 'yeah, I think your grandma is still sick, you might want to catch up with her." he said.

"Grandma, I'm not that old." I said.

"I said her grandma, and first of all we don't have grand-kids, or our own kids, so it's not possible for you to be a grandma." he said.

"Hopefully, I'll have to work tomorrow, if I don't, I'll just go to the parlor just for an excuse to get away form Christina." I said.

"Hopefully she'll be open tomorrow." he said.

"hopefully." I said.

The next morning I get another phone call from Tori. She said It is optional for me to come in today. I am totally going to go into work. I got in the shower and then got dressed. I then ran all the way to the parlor. I had to leave Tobias a quick note. I hope he can read my hand writing. 

I got to the parlor and went inside. Tori greeted me.

"It's kind of weird being in here today." I said.

"I know, we haven't had a lot of people come in." she said.

"Hopefully in a few months when we get the new people, they'll come here." I said.

"Initiates usually do come here after a while. I actually know some people who never got a tattoo and they are a member here." she said.

"I would hate to be a person who lived here,  and then switched factions, and still had tattoos." I said.

"Erudite is so smart that they came up with this thing that removes them." she said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yep, we have one, and this place in the pit that removes tattoos has one." she said.

I just nod my head. I never knew that they made such thing. Tori told me to follow her to this one room in the parlor. When I stepped inside, I saw the machine she was talking about. 

"See, it removes tattoos." she said.

"I thought it would be a bigger machine." I said.

"Nope, it is this small and simple." she said.

I just nod my head and looked at the machine. It was a pretty simple machine. I exited the room and went over to my station. I got settled and waited for the people to come in.

I only got five costumers. That's a good start. I grabbed my stuff because I only have a half day today. I went to the apartment to put my stuff down, and I ran into Tobias on the way, so now we are walking to the dinning hall. 

I heard some one scream. I then heard gun shots. Then some was shouting that we were being raided. 

"Come on, we have to run." Tobias said.

I followed the running Tobias, and we saw a train coming so we jumped onto it. But we weren't alone in the train.

Note: So sorry for the short chapter. I just wanted it to be left off at a cliff hanger, plus I need to make this story have a little more action. It's kind of when the people put no war on their fanfic, but it still has a war in it. Also, I only have one fanfic that is all peaceful Amity in it. -V
