"I hope you like scary movies!" Angelica said cheerily, settling down underneath a blanket. "Yeah, I love scary movies," Alexander said in a nervous tone, his hands fidgeting.

"Don't tell me you don't like horror films," Peggy said. She leaned back, looking at him. "You seem like the kind of guy who'd be unaffected by them." Eliza placed a hand on his shoulder, "If it really bothers you, you don't have to watch it." He scoffed, "No. I don't wanna ruin movie night."

"I agree with Alex. He's not leaving, even if he wants to." He shifted uncomfortably, unconsciously leaning more into Eliza. She just smiled and wrapped an arm around him.

The first movie, he could handle. The second movie, he flinched a few times, but nothing more. But the third movie was killing him. He hugged a pillow to his chest, fists clenched around the fabric. Every time something happened onscreen, he'd yelp and hide his face in Eliza's shoulder. She felt bad for him and wanted to take his mind off of the movie, so she moved her hand down slightly and gently squeezed his sides. He jumped and let out a squeak, bumping into Angelica on his right.

"Oh Alexander, are you scared?" she asked, knowing good and well why he reacted so violently. "N-no, I'm fINE!" The end of his sentence became screeching laughter when she dug her fingers into his stomach, her sisters joining her.

Needless to say, he learned that scary movies aren't all that bad.
