The sound of fluttering wings was nearly driving Gabriel bonkers. "Would you quit flying everywhere?" He demanded from his cell. Suddenly, one of the angels was directly in his face. "Excuse me, mortal?" The angel spoke with such finality and no emotion ever clouded their voices. "I asked if you would walk somewhere for once in your god forsaken lives!" Gabriel shouted. He didn't care anymore. He missed Sam like hell, but he was slowly losing hope of ever getting out of this prison. The angel, for the first time since Gabe had been in a coma, looked astonished. "How dare you talk to one of God's Angels like that?" He asked, his voice deep and angry. Maybe emotion clouded them after all. Or maybe Gabriel just interpreted that as anger. He threw up his hands. "You know what? I'm stuck in this fucking cell, I can't see my boyfriend," Gabrei emphasized the last word. "He's supposedly going to kill himself, end his own life, because I'm not fucking there!" Gabriel screamed, pacing his cell like a caged animal, furious. The angel scoffed. "Mortals." It said. "They're so very flawed, and they can't even see it." "Fuck yourself on a cactus."Gabriel replied. The angel left his cell with a grunt. Gabriel was finished. There wasn't a way to escape this so called "heaven" and he couldn't even summon the anger anymore. Once in a while, he could hear Sam, and it made the blonde tremble, his knees up to his chest, cold wet tears slipping down his face. Yesterday he had though he'd felt something on his lips, and he knew he was going to lose it. "I'm sorry, Sam." He whispered. He clutched his stomach as it rumbled loud enough to wake hell. There was nothing to view himself with, no mirrors or shards of anything reflective. His cell was white-walled and never more than fifty degrees. "If you're gonna kill me, just do it already! Yes! You have my fucking consent!" Gabriel called to no one in particular. Suddenly an angel mojoed into his cell, looking rather confused. "Hello?" The angel in front of him stiffened immeasurably, her back to him still. "Yo, can I get a response please?" Gabriel exasperated. The girl slowly turned around, her pale complexion and white clothing making her bright red hair flare up. "Gabriel Novak." The girl wasn't asking his name; she was stating it. And suddenly Gabriel wanted the angel to rock him to sleep, maybe sing him a lullaby. He stood his ground though. "And I still don't know your name." He said. The angel girl laughed, a soft, beautiful sound. "I'm Anna." She announced. Gabriel smiled anxiously at her. "Oh, don't be afraid of me, I'm here to help you." She spoke as if she were telling him a secret. "Follow me." She giggled airily, laying a hand over his. Immediately, they were standing in an open field, high plants all around them. Gabriel looked for the angel  girl, but she was gone. He began walking.
