"Piper?" Jason breathed softly, his heart skipped a beat.

She was here, she was real. How?

"Oh gods, Jason. I thought you were dead. We have to leave. It'll be back soon." Piper said quietly, thinking that whatever "it" was would be back soon.

Blood seeped from cuts that littered all around his body, his arms and face mostly. Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes. Piper, his Piper, was really here. Jason was laying on the ground, an ankle cuff was snapped a few feet away from him and a rope laid beside it. His, now movable arms, reached out. They paused when his hands brushed her cheek. She was really here

"Piper, oh gods, Piper," Jason's breath was wavering and a tear rolled down his cheek.

Piper's hand reached out and brushed away the tear with the soft stroke of her thumb, she smiled softly. "You," she paused and silently laughed, tears forming in her eyes as well, "do not get to cry, not until we're out of here at least."

"Piper, you d-don't understand, I thought you were dead. You-" he stopped, and swallowed, the crying closing up his throat, "you died. You were there, on that bed. Y-you took your last breaths, I was there."

Her expression changed from a soft happiness, to confusion. "Jason, I'm here. I don't know what you're talking about. You've been here for more than two weeks, Jason. You're the one that I was scared that was dead."

He was just as confused as she was. How? How had he been here for two weeks?

"Jason, we have to go now. Get up, Jason," she whispered.

Jason attempted to lift his legs, succeeding for a moment before he started to sway as his head was clouded with memories.

It was walking through the cave entrance. It was tall, and bulky. Two dark black eyes locked onto Jason as it came closer to him. The stench that rose in the air made Jason scrunch up his nose. A metal ankle cuff was wrapped around Jason's foot so that he was trapped and his arms were hung above him with a rope tied around them. He was hanging from one hook on the cave wall and his feet barely touched the ground. But Jason was so exhausted and tired and hungry that he didn't have any energy. Dried up blood was scattered in pools around Jason, some of it being his own. It was getting closer to Jason until it paused a let out a gruff as it forced a small stale piece of bread in Jason's mouth and poured water into his mouth as well. Jason swallowed the food as it scratched the sides of his throat.

It turned back around and began to trudge out of the cave, the same way it came from.

Jason stumbled and Piper steadied him by placing her hands on his chest and back. He reached his arm over her shoulder and her small frame bared the weight of the tall boy as he leaned up against her.

Quiet noises came from ahead of them, darkness seeped from every crevice. They had barely taken a step before Jason tumbled to the ground, Piper stumbling but not falling. She knelt down beside him.

"Jason," she squeaked softly, scared he injured himself more.

"I-I'm okay," he said before pushing himself off the ground. His blonde hair was swept over and dirt and blood was mixed in with it. He resumed his position before, arm over Piper's shoulder.

Moisture clung onto the walls of the cave and the smell of decomposing bodies filled the air. Jason gagged. They walked slowly, Jason limping with an injured leg, through the cave. It was dark, and they had no idea where they were headed. An object brushed against Piper's leg before she realized it was another person, or rather another body that was strung up along the wall just like how Jason had been. She whimpered and clenched her hand in Jason ripped up shirt. They proceeded walking.

Jason had no idea what was going on. Piper, she had just died, and he had just jumped off a cliff. All he wanted was to be with her. And now he is with her but he has no idea how. What had happened to him?

Blood was pouring from a gash in his leg and he tumbled over once again, this time Piper fell on him. He groaned as his eyes drooped. His head felt woozy and his eyelids were heavy. His leg ached. Piper rolled off him and crawled back over, leaning about him. She found his hand and their fingertips brushed. She laced her fingers with his and he felt her teardrop hit the back of his hand as she clasped their hands together against his chest.

"Jason, please. You have to stay awake, you can't die. I love you." Piper sniffled and kissed his cheek.

Those words, "I love you." He remembered the last time he said them to her. She had just died. He was kneeling beside her bed in the infirmary at the camp. She had just died.

"Pipes, I-" Jason coughed, blood dripping from his mouth. "I love you too."
