Jiper- An Unknown World

Chapter 1- Quest

Jason's POV

Boom! Crash! Creak! The 2 cyclops' were stomping around the cave. Some stalactites were threatening to fall from the cave's roof. Leo was shuffling around trying to find the right tools from his tool belt and Piper was slashing at one of the cyclops' legs. It bellowed in pain but didn't go down that easily. Meanwhile, I was fighting the other cyclops. This one seemed to be shorter and less strong as the other one. I was afraid Piper wouldn't be able to handle the other one by herself, until I quickly saw Leo charge in with a hammer in hand.

I start to slash at the cyclops' legs and hope to get him to fall over so I can jump on his back and stab him right in the face.

"Ow, ow, ow. Stop it! I said stop it!" The cyclops' was whining as I sliced his foot clean off. That proved he was the weaker of the duo.

The cyclops swung his arm, but missed me by a few inches. After that, he fell over in defeat and this gave me a chance to jump on his back. I did so and I stood on his lumpy, hairy back.

"This'll teach you." I stabbed it right in its head and it yelped and turned to dust.

I quickly got up and ran over to where Piper and Leo were fighting the other cyclops. It was about a meter taller than the other one, and was a bit fatter, but still stunk just as bad. Piper and Leo seemed to be handling the fight pretty well, seeing that all Leo had was a hammer in his hand. Piper was still slashing and stabbing at its legs, trying to get it to fall over. It didn't seem to wince at all. Leo was trying to distract it.

I flew up and tried to land on its back, like I did with the other one, but it swatted me back and I tumbled to the ground. Piper glanced at me, and that was the mistake. The cyclops took that as an opportunity to swing his hand and swatted her away, like she was a fly. She went flying through the air and landed at the back of the cave. She hit the wall with a loud smack. You could hear the sound of some of her bones crushing from where we were standing. She got knocked out immediately and lay there, her head resting again the wall.

I fell a rush of anger sweep through me. I yelled and lifted my sword to slash again. Leo did the same and together we fought the cyclops. After what seemed like an hour, it finally gave up, seeing as its legs were covered in blood and one of its arms were cut off. I took the last stab and said "This ones for Piper." With that it turned to dust.

I rushed over to Piper. I checked for a pulse. There was none.
