I Was Wrong - 01

BEA'S P.O.V.

I can't forget the hardest decision I've made. Well, I don't think I'mbeing selfish naman. This is not only for me, this is also for her. For the two of us.

I didn't regret anything naman eh, cause I think we're both happy and contented na rin. But I can't lie, I miss her. I miss how we talked to each other, the way how we treat each other, I miss Jho.

But I don't want to ruin our lives now. Okay na ako dito.

"Nak, aren't you goimg out with your friends now? This is rare Bei. Dati-rati every saturday and sunday you're hanging out with Maddie, Therese, and Jho." Dad camein my room and said that.

When I heard him mention Jho's name, I looked up at him and gave him a weak smile.

"No dad. I'm alright here."

"Oh... Sorry Bei, I didn't mean to-" Dad went near me and hugged me from behind. I did not let him finish what he's saying, I don't want him to feel sorry.

"Don't feel sorry dad. It's okay, it's been 3 months na rin naman since we've talked about that." I said in a low voice.

Yes. Right after our last game, we talked about 'us' and ended that 'something' between us. After that, we were all given 3 months to rest. And this is the last sunday of our 'rest-cation.'

Tonight at 6 pm, I'll go back to the Katipunan, my second home. To be honest, I really think I can see her again na without hard feelings and we can be what we should be - friends.

"Dad, Bea, luch's ready. Dali na" Mom said, so Dad and I went downstairs na.
While eating, mom reminded me again of "what shoulds' and 'what shouldn'ts' when I leave.

"Oh and don't forget your phone Bei ha? Or else I'll confiscate it nalang kasi useless din naman eh." Mom said.

"Haha oo nga Bei. Remember when you left your phone here and wala kang nagawa kundi to buy a new one nalang." Kuya said and swear, he's enjoying reminiscing my mistake.

"Whatever kuya. Psh yes mom, I won't. Ever again"

After eating lunch

"Bei, I want you to bring this." Dad handed me a necklace.

"I want you to wear that every game ha? Or even not during your game haha. I bought it 3 months ago, but uhm.. i wasn't able to give it to you." He continued.

Flashback

She stepped back to break our embrace, still looking on the floor. I can see she's crying, and so I am

Who wouldn't naman diba? After this day, I might be a stranger to her na. We decided kasi to avoid each other although it's pretty hard cause we're teammates.

Without saying any word, she walked away from me. While crying, I went to dad who has just arrived from anywhere.

"There you are Bei, sorry I just went outside to buy the necklace I--- hey why are you crying baby?"

End of flashback

That was the day when I told my family about me and Jho. I was shocked when I heard nothing from them but very comforting words. Exactly not what I have expected.

"Yes dad. I will." I said with a genuine smile."

After an hour of preparing my things, I am now on my way to katipunan.

"Oh you're here na pala bea. Come inside, may changes sa rooms. Roommates tayo nila Kim, and... And Jho." Ate Ly said.

Gosh. Tama ba narinig ko? Just right when we enter our room, Giz and Kim greeted me. But Jho was lying there with her earphones plugged in.

Ate Ly went to Jho

"Uy Jho dun ka na sa bed mo. Kay Bea yan, anjan na siya."

Immediately, she stood up from 'my' bed and looked at me.

"H-- Hi." She said.

I dont know why. I thought I am ready, but I was wrong.
