DESTINY

After what happened at her mother's and brother's funeral Destiny stayed away from Chris but kept in touch with Dimitra.  Dimitra never told Criss about the phone calls but in the back of his mind Chris wonder how she was doing with everything and if she was coming back to finish college. 

Destiny stayed in Florida and met a man who she feel in love with as she was reading the paper Destiny came upon Chris's father's obituary.  Tears fell down her face as she read it.  "Destiny are you all right?"her father asked.  "Chris's father passed away the last time I talked to Chris doctor's gave him three weeks to live".  "I guess he proved his doctor's wrong by living for three years" he replied. 

Destiny called Dimitra and told her what she read and told her she'd come back for the funeral.  "Thank you Destiny I'll see you there" and hung up.  At the funeral Destiny showed up and saw JD.  "Hey JD" giving him a hug.  "We have to stop meeting at funerals like this"he joked.  "Where's Costa and Chris?".  "With our mom she'd be happy to see you". 

JD pointed them out and went over to them.  Chris was talking to his girlfriend Joann when Destiny walked up to Dimitra.  Dimitra smiled happy to see her.  "Hey Dimitra I'm so sorry about John I always considered him a great man and a second father to me" giving her a hug.  "He always loved having you around he always said you were like the daughter he never had" chuckling.  

As she sat down talking to Dimitra Joann noticed Destiny.  "Who's that talking to your mother?".  Chris turned around and smiled.  "That's Destiny".  "The girl you grew up with".  "Yea her mother and my mother met at a doctor's office when her mother was pregnant with her and my mom was pregnant with me.  Both of them had us at the same hospital, on the same day, minutes of each other.  Mom loved having Destiny around since we were brothers to her and she's like a sister to us"Chris stated.  "That's sweet you'll have to introduce her to me".

After the funeral Destiny was getting in her car when Chris went up to her.  "Destiny wait a minute,".  She turned around to Chris.  "Where you going so fast my mom wants you to come to the house.  She wants to catch up with you".  "I have to get home I've got business to attend to" she said hiding her hand.  "If it's because of what happened at your mom's funeral it's all right you were in pain and I don't hold it against you" he said.  "My fiancée is waiting for me back in Florida we're going to get married" showing him the ring.

"Wow congratulations I hope you and-".  "Roger Magic" giggling which made Chris snicker.  "Like the last name".  "Here give this to your mother it might lift her spirits" taking an invitation out of her bag.  "She'll be happy to hear it thanks for coming" and gave her a hug as Joann watched.  Chris walked back to the limo and got in.  "So is Destiny coming back to the house?".  "No she has to get back to Florida to plan her wedding" Chris replied.  "Wow little Destiny is getting married dad would of loved that" JD stated.  "She wants you to be there mom she gave me this" giving Chris the invitation.  

"I'll have to call her later to thank her for coming" Dimitra stated.  "Yea" Chris replied.  A few months went by and Dimitra flew down to Florida to help Destiny go dress shopping.  "Thanks for doing this Dimitra it doesn't feel right with out my mom here to help me" wiping a tear away.  "Don't cry sweetie she's probably the reason you and Roger got together.  I do have a confession to make I always thought you and Christopher would start dating maybe even get married".  "Yea but I have Roger and Chris has Joann so until fate intercedes let's pick out a dress"
