DESTINY

It been a few days since Johnny was diagnosed with cancer.  Criss even shut down Believe to be with his son.  At the house Criss was on the phone with his mom while Shaunyl was taking care of Johnny.  As she came down Criss came in rubbing his eyes.  "Something wrong Criss?".  "That was my mom Destiny's father had another stroke Destiny had to put him in a hospice home" he replied. 

"Poor Destiny".  "Mom's with her she's a mess emotionally".  "After what life has dealt her I don't blame her for feeling this way but the good thing is she has a friend like you and your family to lean on when she needs it".  "Thanks Shaunyl" and gave her a kiss as Johnny cried out for his mommy.  "I'll go check on Johnny you give Destiny a call all right" she remarked and went upstairs. 

In Las Vegas Destiny was holding a picture of her and her mother as tears fell down her face.  "I wish you were here mom I could really use your strength right now,".  Her phone rang and saw it's Criss's number.  "Hey Christopher how's Johnny?".  "He hates the chemo and I don't blame him I've been having flashback of my dad going through Chemo too" he replied.  "At least he has you and Shaunyl to help him". 

"Listen I heard about your father and I'm so sorry" he replied.  "I wish my mom was here she was always my rock" as tears fell down her face.   Criss walked outside and closed the screen behind him "Listen Destiny I don't want you to lose hope you're not alone I know life has thrown you some curve balls but you've found ways of hitting them out of the park" he remarked. 

"Criss have I ever told you I love your metaphors" as they laughed.  "Well your mother's helping me out and so Lynn.  She found a great hospice place that deals with stroke victims and your mom is helping me with Dimitra".  "You always said you consider my family your second family" he remarked. 

"Maybe after I figure out a few things me and Dimitra can come down she really wants to see Johnny live and in person".  "Shaunyl told me they've been skyping it funny how two one year olds love to Skype" chuckling.  "Your mother thinks they may get married or even date" Destiny stated.  "Where have I heard this before" Criss said as they both started to laugh.  "Tell Shaunyl I'm praying for Johnny every day and so your mother".  "If that's true my mother should be paying rent to the priest at the church they see her so much there" he joked as Destiny chuckled.  "Bye Criss" and hung up.  "Dad if you can hear me please let something go right for Destiny and stop throwing her so many curve balls" Criss asked looking at the sky.
