DESTINY

Destiny was a beautiful bride when she got married and Dimitra was there with Chris and his brothers.  When Destiny saw Chris with his new hair cut she almost fell to the floor.  "What do you think?" he asked.  "You look-wow-I'm just in shock Chris"she replied.  "Well you look gorgeous and Roger will be a great guy" giving her a hug.  "Where's Joann?".  "Her father's ill she really wanted to meet you" he remarked.  "Your mother told me you got married to her a few months ago".  "Yea I wish you could of come but  I knew you had to finish some wedding stuff too".  "You trying to steal my new bride"Roger said jokily. 

"Roger this is Christopher he and I grew up together" Destiny remarked.  "It's nice to finally meet you Destiny told me stories of you are you still trying to become a magician".  "That's one of things I wanted to tell you Destiny I got a television deal and I would love it if you and Roger would be there for my mom's birthday and the filming of my first show". 

She congratulated Chris and agreed they'd be there.  A few months later Roger and Destiny went to Las Vegas to see Chris film it.  As Roger went golfing Chris showed Destiny his 'production studio' or his suite at the hotel."Nice wall paper Chris" as Chris chuckled.  "You know me" as Destiny looked at some of the drawings.  "Wow this is cool I can see this show blowing up" she replied.  "Thanks".  As Destiny pulled up his one of her sleeves Chris noticed her arm. 

"What's up with all the bruises on your arm" looking at them.  "It's nothing".  "Nothing they look like someone was gripping you tight I can even make out which fingers they are" he stated.  "All right but keep this to yourself Roger and I got you know rough last night" smiling. 

"Just becareful next time and don't forget about dinner with the family"Chris reminded her.  "I won't".  She gave Chris a kiss and went to back to her room.  When she got back there Roger was waiting there.  "Where have you been you were suppose to be here when I got back".  "Chris wanted to show me his production office"she replied.  "I told you I don't want you hanging around him I don't trust him".  "Please he's married and Chris and I are just friends that's it".  Roger got up and slammed Destiny into the wall.  "What did I tell you about back talking" and was about to hit her.

"Not the face we're going out to dinner for Dimitra's birthday"she begged.  He stepped back as Destiny fell to the floor crying.  At the party everyone was talking as Destiny came down alone.  "Destiny where's Roger?". "He ran into some old friends from college he send his apology" shaking a little.  Chris walked over.  "You look cold let me give you my coat".  As Chris took off his jacket and put it on Destiny he noticed some marks on her back.  Destiny sat down next to Dimitra and gave her a hug.

"You all right you seem nervous?".  "No I went to the gym and I must of pulled a muscle in my back but I'm fine".  After dinner Joann and Destiny were talking as Chris just watched.  "Chris what's wrong you look ready to blow a gasket"Costa remarked.  "When I put my jacket on Destiny I saw marks on her back and when we were talking today she had bruises on her arm like she was held against her will I can't prove it but  I think Roger abusing Destiny"Chris replied. 

"Chris just like you said you can't prove that Roger is hurting her so unless you've got proof you have to let Destiny live her life"JD stated as Chris watched Joann and Destiny talk. The next day Chris was walking around when he saw Roger.  "Roger" he called out.  "Christopher I'm so sorry about last night I hadn't seen these guys in decades".  "It's all right did you notice the marks on Destiny's arms and wrist". 

"Them we kind of got a little rough"he said smiling.  "That's good because you know how close we are to Destiny and I would hate it if you were hurting her than we'd really have problems you hearing me Roger".  "Come on Chris I wouldn't hurt her I love her".  "All right but if good forbid you do I'll make sure you disappear never to return again"he stated and left. 

That night Chris was getting ready when Destiny came over pist.  "Christopher what the fuck were you thinking!!".  "Destiny listen to me before you blow a fuse".  "Why in god's earth did you threaten my husband for?" she asked.  "Because he's abusing you and I wanted him to know that if he hurts you again and I find out he'll disappear and never return" Chris replied.  "This is insane Roger isn't hurting me at all and after this performance I want you to apologize to him or else". 

"Or else what Destiny" he asked pist off.  "You'll never see or hear from me again I don't need you, Costa, or JD to help me live my life".  "God Destiny why are you actting like this I know that he is hurting you why can't you see it".  "What's it going to be Christopher an apology or our friendship".  "I can't do it Destiny I'm sorry" Chris remarked.  "Than kiss our friendship good-bye" and she left.  After the performance Criss was sitting in his room looking out the window as his mother walked over. 

"What's wrong Christopher your illusion was perfect" as his mother sits next to him.  "I had a feeling Roger was hitting Destiny but I have no proof so I kind of threaten him and he told Destiny.  We had a fight and she told me we weren't friends anymore" wiping some tears away.  "Destiny is probably angry at you she'll come back" she remarked.  "I don't think so I found this on the door".  Criss opened his hand and in it was his ring that he gave Destiny so long ago.
