It's been two months since Dimitra and Johnny were born Criss, Shaunyl, and Destiny were happy to be parents but they wished parenthood came with an instruction manual at times. In his office Criss was involved with a meeting when he unexpectedly fell asleep. "Criss wake up". "Oh sorry guys" rubbing his eyes. "Johnny keeping you up nights?".
"Yea and with Shaunyl back in Australia I'm the one up with him. To make matter worse he has colic and the formula isn't agreeing with his system he's spitting up, throwing up and I won't even mention diaper changes" Criss remarked rubbing his eyes.
"Why is she home for?" Costa asked handing Criss some coffee. "Her mother had to have heart surgery" Criss replied. "I heard Destiny isn't having a fun time either because she had that infection Destiny can't go back to work so her father had to take a night job" JD said "Also Destiny's up with Dimitra and she has colic too and a wicked ear infection to boot"Costa added. Costa turned and saw Criss fell asleep again.
"Why don't we call it a day Criss is beyond exhausted" Banachek suggested. "Yea" and everyone left. Costa woke up Criss again and told him to snick into his dressing room and sack out for a while. "Yea I-". Before Criss could finish that sentence the phone rang. Costa got it and it was the day care telling them Johnny had to go home. "Thanks Gennie I'll be right up" and hung up.
"Don't tell me I have to bring Johnny home. I had a feeling that was going to happen when I brought him up to the nursery"Criss remarked rubbing his eyes. "I'll go get him you grab your coat I'm sending you home for a while" and went upstairs. When Criss got home he found Destiny sacked out on his couch. "Destiny wake up" Costa said.
She stirred when she saw Costa and Criss. "Oh hi guys". "What are you doing here?"Costa asked. "I went outside to grab the mail and when I came back in I went to check on Dimitra I found a man rummaging through drawers looking for something I yelled for him to get out but he pulled a gun and was ready to kill me until my neighbor heard me yell he came over and knocked him to the ground".
"Thank god you have a neighbor that's a cop"Criss replied. "After they arrested the guy he told me that I had to leave so I gathered up some stuff and I called my dad at work told him I was heading here. I hope you don't mind". Costa sat next to Destiny and consoled her. "It's all right but where's Dimitra". "In your mom's room I brought her bassinet with me since she's asleep I decided to catch some-".
A baby's cry could be heard. "And someone's up" Criss remarked. "And someone needs change or you really need a trash pick-up" Destiny added. "Come on buddy time for a change and a bath" Criss said bringing him upstairs as Destiny got into her wheelchair and went into Dimitra's room.
While the parents disappeared Costa went outside to make a phone call. A few minutes later Criss was working on some stuff while Destiny fed Dimitra when the door opened and Lynn came in. "Christopher where are you?". Criss came out of his office. "Lynn what a surprise what are you doing here?" giving her a hug. "JD told me about Johnny and his reaction to the formula I brought you some soy formula maybe that might help him". "If it does I'll owe you big time" he remarked taking the bag. "And how you doing with Dimitra?" sitting next to Destiny "Good but I hate the colic and she screams like a banshee when I put the ear drops in her ears" she replied.
"Costa told me both of the babies have colic". "Yea and it's so much fun I've seen such lovely sun rises" Criss stated sarcastically. "Don't worry Criss it doesn't last forever"she replied as Criss tried to hide a yawn. "Criss when the last time you had a decent night sleep". "Before Johnny was born"he replied as Destiny chuckled. "What about you Destiny it looks like Dimitra is keeping you up too". "Yea but whenever she sleeps I do too but with the ear infection it doesn't last long"she replied.
"How about this why don't I take the kids while both of you get to know your pillows again". "Lynn I can't do that to you beside JD may kill me if you do"Criss stated. "Criss this is Costa's idea for me and JD to take these colic kids and I'm dropping off Johnny to Costa so both of you can get some sleep" Lynn remarked. "All right let me get some stuff for him" and Criss went upstairs as Destiny help Lynn put Dimitra and Johnny into their car seats.
"Lynn I know Criss may not say it but thank you for this". "No problem and have a good sleep" she replied as Criss brought down the baby bag. "Some diapers, extra clothing and his pacifier also a toy he likes to have when he naps". The door opened and JD walked in. "Are we ready or is Criss having separation anxiety?". Criss replied with a middle finger. "Someone's cranky have a good sleep guys and we'll see you guys tomorrow" and they left. After the kids left Criss saw Destiny passed out on the sofa so he put a blanket on her than went up to sleep himself.
