DESTINY

The day before Criss was to be released his mother came to see him with Johnny.  When Johnny saw his father Johnny was happy to see him.  "Daddy Daddy!!"Johnny exclaimed.  He let go of his grandmother's hand and ran to Criss who scooped him.  "I missed you buddy"he whispered into his son's ears as he hugged him. 

"Daddy get hurt" Johnny inquired when he noticed the bandage on Criss's wrist.  "Yea but daddy's better".  "Like mommy " Johnny stated.  "What do you mean is mommy all right?"he asked a little worried.  "I had sleep over at Didi's house until mommy was better".  Criss looked at his mother with concern.  "Come on buddy".  They walked over to Dimitra and Criss sat down.  "It's so good to see you" she remarked giving him a hug.  "Mom is Shaunyl all right Johnny said that he had a sleep over at Destiny's house until Shaunyl is better" he asked. 

"Destiny found her in her room assaulted, the room was trashed" she explained.  "Was Johnny all right?".  "He was the one who answered the door.  Christopher I know she tried to tell you what happened but you wouldn't listen?".  "I guess I should of what happened exactly" Criss asked.  "Sandra black mailed Shaunyl into doing what she did.  Sandra swore if she didn't do what she did Johnny wouldn't get the medicine he needs to beat the cancer" she told him.

Criss felt like an ass acting the way he did towards Shaunyl.  "I need to apologize to her I should of listen to her" wiping a tear away.  "You'll see her tomorrow Johnny we have to go now" Dimitra called out.  "Daddy come too" he asked walking over.  "No buddy not until tomorrow but you be a good boy to mommy all right". 

Johnny gave Criss one more hug and left with his grandmother.  At the house Destiny was feeding one of the twins as Shaunyl came out of the twin's room.  "God that brought back memories of changing Johnny as a baby" she replied.  Destiny chuckled.  "I knew it would I wonder how Criss enjoyed seeing Johnny" Destiny wondered.

"I still feel horrible about what I did causing Criss to kill himself good it should of been me at that facility not Criss" as she sat down. "Shaunyl you have to stop blaming yourself when Criss comes home tomorrow you can try to explain it to him again" she said. The phone rang and Costa went to get it.  "You're right Destiny I'll try tomorrow I just hope he believes me this time".  "Shaunyl it's for you". 

Shaunyl got up and Costa gave her the phone.  "Hello".  "Hey Shaunyl it's Christopher".  "Criss why are you-".  "Listen my mom explained it to me what Sandra did and I'm sorry for acting the way I did towards you I shouldn't of let my temper get the best of me" he remarked.  "You mean it Criss".  "With all my heart Shaunyl look I have to go I'll see you tomorrow and we'll talk more about it".  "All right" and Criss hung up.
