It's true and I knew
on that first day it would save me -yet for the supernova blaze
of my rage and grief's daze
and the tolling bell of the swell
love's groaner, so desperately
missing you that lungs forgot
to breathe then I, too,
forgot I knew -that I love the willow herb
sprung from dirt,
as much as under any skirt.....................
