Yay I'm starting this story up again! Mostly cause I just had a cool idea. But whatever. You probably want me to stop talking and get on with the story :P

< On the bus >
I sat on the bus, waiting for my stop. The chatting in the bus was way too loud for me, and I was eager to get out of there and into the comfort of my own home.
When the bus finally came to a stop, I stepped out and walked up the driveway to the doorstep. I fished the key out of my bag, and unlocked the door. Thank god, home sweet home.
My parents weren't home yet, as they both worked late. I was alone, free to do whatever I wanted. I quickly texted my mom to tell her that I had gotten home safely, then went upstairs to watch some more videos.
Suddenly I heard the door open. Was mom really home this early?! Usually she works until at least 6:00 at night, so 4:30 was quite a difference.
I backtracked to the door to greet her, but when I got there, the hallway was empty. But I was sure I heard the door open!
Then I noticed something. The door was unlocked. But I was almost certain that I had locked of after I came in.
Now I was getting creeped out. Was there a ghost in my house? What was even happening?!
Even though I knew I was probably overreacting, I slid a knife out of a kitchen drawer and gripped it tightly. If I was about to be attacked, I was going to be ready.
I cautiously crept upstairs to get my phone. I grabbed it off the table and slipped it into my pocket, in easy reach to call 911 if I had too.
Now all I had to do was wait. Hopefully my bratty little sister would get home soon, and then I wouldn't be alone. But until then, what was there to do?
I decided to watch some TV. Maybe that would take my mind off of the creepy thing going on around my house. I searched around for the remote, but I couldn't find it. Maybe my mom had accidentally brought it into the kitchen again. She tended to do that sometimes.
I went back into the kitchen and saw the remote on the table. When I reached out to grab it, I stopped. I swore I just heard footsteps....
I whipped around, but nobody was there. I took a deep breath. I was just paranoid. I turned back and grabbed the remote off the table.
Then when I turned around to walk out, I complete froze in my spot. A guy, wearing full armor and equipped with a diamond sword, was standing in my kitchen, sword raised, ready to bring the blade down on my head.
But by far the weirdest thing about him, was that he had pale blue skin and navy hair. He was even wearing a strange amulet encrusted with a purple jewel. It kinda reminded me of the one that Skydoesminecraft has on his skin.
Then a whole jumble of things happened at once. First of all, I finally got up the strength to scream, and at the same time I whipped the knife up in front of me to block the sword stroke. With my other hand, I frantically tried to slide my phone out of my pocket and dial 911, but I didn't get the chance before the blade struck home.
My phone flew out of my hand and landed on the floor, far out of reach. The impact of the huge broadsword against the knife surprised me, and I ended up with the blunt edge of the knife pressed up against my face.
One more blow, and he could probably get past my defenses and strait out behead me. But his next move made me realize that he wasn't aiming to kill me.
Instead, with a quick flick of his wrist, he flung the small kitchen knife across the room where it hit the wall with a clatter. The before I could even think about ducking, the flat side of the blade collided with my head, and the whole world started to spin.
The last thing I saw was the grinning face of the guy staring at me until I blacked out. But not before the realization dawned on me. It was so obvious! This guy, with the blue skin and hair, had snuck into my house. This guy, wearing full battle armor and equipped with a diamond sword, something that was nearly impossible anywhere exempt minecraft, had tried to kill me. This guy, was OBVIOUSLY a squid.
(Duh duh duh!!!!)
