OMG. KIRSTIE AND JEREMY ARE ENGAGED. IM SO HAPPY FOR THEM AHHHH.
"It wasn't your fault, Mitch." Mitch looks up at Scott, shaking his head. Everyone had said that, but it still hasn't changed the fact that Mitch believed it was his fault. Why did he still feel like this? It had been a day since he went to the station. He thought sleep would make the thoughts go away. His parents, Scott, Kirstie, all of their friends, and Marshall had told Mitch that it wasn't his fault. Mitch wanted to believe them, but didn't want to not believe himself, if that made any sense.
"Look at me." Mitch shakes his head again.
He signs something to Scott, even if he knew he couldn't understand it. He hadn't used sign language in a long time. It was weird to start again. He moves his hands around: I should go.
"What are you doing?" Scott asks, putting his hand over Mitch's. Mitch moves away, crawling out of the bed. He grabs his notebook and tosses a note to Scott.
Can you take me home?
"Why do you want to leave?"
I just want to go home. It's nothing against you.
"I mean, yeah, I can take you. Do you want me to stay with you? Am I allowed?"
I have no idea.
"Travis made the decision. You had nothing to do with it. You had no idea what was going on or what was going to happen. Don't let this affect you." Mitch nods, looking down. Scott gets off of the bed and walks over to Mitch. He places his hand on Mitch's hips. "You did nothing wrong. Everything will be okay. Everything is okay. You are okay."
Why do I not feel like it then?
"Denial, maybe some regret too. He made you feel like you did things wrong when you were together when it was him the whole time. So now, it seems like it was you that caused this, but no one sees it like that. We all know it wasn't your fault Mitch. Now it's your turn to realize it."
Thank you, Scott. You always know what to say.
"Do you still want to go?"
A little, yeah.
"Oh. Okay."
---------------------
They quickly arrive at Mitch's house. For some odd reason, his mom was outdoors when they got there. Scott hops out of the car and walks up to Mitch's front door with him.
"Hello, boys." Nel greets them. He waves at her. Mitch's turns to Scott and hugs him tightly, taking in as much of the boy as he can get.
"Scott!" Mitch's mom yells. Scott turns around, Mitch still attached to his waist. "Would you like to stay for dinner? We have plenty extra."
Scott looks to Mitch for confirmation. He nods.
"I'd love to, thanks." He says. Nel smiles at the boys as they walk into the house. They pass Mike. He waves with a smile.
They climb upstairs and into Mitch's rooms, shutting the door when they enter.
"I'll totally leave if you want to be alone. I know you came home for some space and then your mom asked that and you probably didn't want to say no in front of her. I get-" Mitch places his finger over Scott's lips, indicating for him to stop talking. "I know of a better way you can get me to stop talking."
Mitch playfully smacks him. He nestles into his side and is not shocked when Scott's arm finds its way around Mitch's waist.
"I'm guessing you'll let me stay?"
"Mhm." Mitch hums.
They somehow find themselves tangled in each other on the bed. Legs in between one another's, hands connected while the others explore each other's skin. Foreheads connected, not daring to look anywhere but each other.
Scott sighs. A sigh of happiness and relief to see Mitch so calm and relaxed. He manages to push them closer together. Scott places a gentle peck onto Mitch's cheek.
"I want to do something." Scott says. "But I need to know if you want me to." Mitch points to Scott's lips, then gives him a thumbs up.
"So that's a yes to me kissing you?" Mitch chuckles, nodding.
"Yes, Superman."
Scott slowly leans into Mitch, nervous and yet extremely excited to feel his lips on Mitch's. When they connect for the first time, it's like heaven. Scott quickly relaxes, his hand reluctantly moving up and down his side. Lips moving against eachother, hands tugging hair. and grabbing hips.
Mitch wanted more. He melted away in Scott's touch. He pushes himself further into Scott, deepening the kiss. Scott's lips were soft and tasted of the cherry lip balm he had earlier put on. He was amazing, Mitch thought. Mitch lightly runs his hands around his face, resting them at his neck.
Scott's teeth maneuver there way in between Mitch's lips and lightly tug back on them, allowing them to leave his mouth with a little pop. Mitch moans slightly, which left Scott feeling amazing. He sounded gorgeous to the blonde.
Mitch still couldn't get enough. He couldn't push them closer together, they were practically pried to each other. His hands had a mind of there own, swooping down and into Scott's belt loops.
Scott didn't want to do anything he'd, or Mitch, would regret. He quickly grabs Mitch's hands, intertwining them with his own.
Mitch pulls back a little, but quickly places his lips into Scott's again. Only a few seconds later do their lips disconnect for good, leaving two boys with big smiles and swollen lips looking at each other.
"Wow." Scott says. "That's was...really fun." Mitch chuckles at him, tilting his chin up with his finger and placing another gentle kiss on his lips.
"We should do it again sometime!" Mitch laughs again, wrapping his arms around Scott. He wanted to say something, to share his feelings with Scott. To tell him how amazing he felt. He didn't want to ruin the moment by grabbing his notebook, so he allows his touch to tell him his emotions. They way he caresses him and hugs him showed him everything he needed to know.
Mitch was falling hard.
Thirty chapter later and finally a real Scomiche kiss. Took long enough!

FanficPicture a world where you couldn't speak. When you were mad, you couldn't rant. When you were sad, you couldn't talk about it. When you were happy, you couldn't let people know. This was Mitch's reality.
