Chapter: 13

Beau's Pov

"It's Meg isn't it?" Luke says as him, Jai, skip and James stand there looking at me still sitting in the boot, while Meg and Alice go get Alice's stuff.

"What?" I asked confused.

"It's Meg, the girl you want to ask out is Meg" James clears up.

"I uh don't know what your talking about" I lie, terribly may I add.

"Cut the shit and admit it" Jai pipes up.

"Wow don't get your panties in a twist and I won't admit it because I have nothing to admit" I say.

"Psssh dude we over heard you talking about how you want to ask out a girl you like, and we see the way you look at her" Daniel says.

"You say over heard, you do realise there is a name for it aye, it's called eavesdropping" I reply avoiding the fact that they know I like Meg.

Meg and Alice soon arrive back at the car with Alice's stuff, they put it on Jai, Luke and Alice's laps in the back seat considering there is by far not enough room in boot.

"Sooooooooooo Beaujob do you like potatoes?" Meg asks out of the blue.

"First of all how many energy drinks did you have exactly and yes I do like potatoes" I ask and answer.

"Well about 4" she says giggly. Before we knew it we were back at Meg's house. Luke opened the boot "get out you fuckwits" he orders.

We do as he says and Meg asks us to help her carry Alice's stuff plus the tons of groceries we brought inside. When we were done her and Alice disappeared into he guest room where Alice will be staying.

Probably getting Alice all set up. The boys were playing FIFA in the lounge and I was just thinking of a way to ask Meg out. I really really don't want to ruin our friendship or hers and the boys friendships either.

For fuck sakes we're neighbors, and this has a big possibility of it ending very badly. My thoughts are interrupted by Meg, "what are you thinking about Beau?" She asks.

"um nothing, I gotta go" I reply. "Okay hey are you gonna ask that girl out today?" She asks.

"Yeah I'm probably going to ring and ask her, hey by the way keep your phone on" I reply.

Meg's Pov

After Beau leaves me and Alice get into our bikinis and go hop in the spa pool to relax. I do wish it was me Beau was asking out. Not even ten minutes after Alice and I get in, Skip James, Jai and Luke come join us and my phone starts going off bleating the lyrics to perfect by simple plan.

"If it's important they will ring back later" I say. We begin playing 20 questions. The game was going well until Alice and I were asked who we like liked out of the Janoskians.

I know they were aiming thins question at me although jai seemed interested in hearing Alice's answer.

"Well?" Skip asks, as he waits rather Impatiently for our answers.

"After you Alice I mean you are my guest." I say.

"Seriously Meg seriously?" She asks.

"Yes now answer" I reply

Beau's Pov

After I left Meg's house I just sat on my bed working up the nerve to make that phone call to Meg, I finally worked up the nerve and she doesn't answer.

I waited awhile then tried again and this time it just didn't work, her phone was either turned off or went flat.

Well this is really a self esteem boost. You know what I could really do with a nice alcoholic drink. I decided to go down to the bar.
