I do admit, I am a bit sore. I mean, we did have to jump up and down on The Gauntlet, and I'm not used to jumping very high. We didn't jump much in Gym. Only ran. But at least I got a medal for being the fastest female in our class! I'm pretty happy about that. Nobody shall catch me!
Today is another day of training. I wonder what will happen today because you never know. Training is also a good way to make friends so you can be allies in the games. I'm not good at making friends. I'm not an open person. I only chooses to be friends with certain people. Well, someone like Dean probably wouldn't be on my friend list... but somehow he made it. I guess I just know that we have to be friends for awhile. At least we're not fighting.
I'm not sure what to do today. I want to make training useful, but today seems like the day where everything is boring. I look around. There's a boy, I think from 10, swinging bats at trainers. Is that all? Oh...spoke to soon. Peeta isn't the best at climbing, ropes. The Careers are staring at him, judging him and Katniss. That's just how the Careers are. They judge you. But then, Peeta surprises them by throwing a metal ball. The ball must weigh a lot of pounds because the Careers are stunned. Hmm... First the Costumes and now Peeta's skills. I can tell the Careers hate 12.
I look around the room. I see a trainer showing Noah, the boy from District 3, how to start a fire. When the fire starts, Noah seems shocked like he never knew how to do that. You would think he would being that he came from District 3 and those tributes are smart, but I guess he's only technology smart. I hear screaming. I look over and see Cato shouting at Jason. (Jason is the male from District 6.) "GIVE ME MY KNIFE! YOU TOOK MY KNIFE!" Yells Cato. Wow. I now know not to take his knife. Jason and Cato start hitting each other. "WATCH YOUR BACK! IN THE ARENA, YOU WILL BE THE FIRST ONE I KILL!" Yells Cato. Trainers break them up. Jeez, Cato has a bad side. A really BAD side. Clove's smirking at them. Something seems odd about that knife situation. I'm not saying this is true... But the way Jason said he didn't know where the knife was, seemed legit. Like, he was telling the truth. Maybe someone else took it.
I figure that most of the tributes got their training in, but I need to, too. Maybe I will do it tomorrow. Today must be the lazy day for training, because not much people are doing things. Instead, I will just examine tributes and what there doing. Everyone does good with training. Well...most of them at least.
Me, Dean and Quinn, go back to our room. I'm not sure what will happen tomorrow, but the clock is ticking, and it's almost time for the games to begin.
