JACOB POINT OF VIEW

I can't believe I told her my secret the secret I've been holding onto for years...why do I feel like I can trust her? Aren't I here to destroy her?

No, that that evil dude or whoever that dude is is after her and the fact that I even trust her with my secret, and someone threatening her, now it's change. I don't want to kill her, but help her. The guys are going to kill me when they find out.

You mean 'if' they find out. I can still make it seem like I'm on their side, while helping Emma.

What am I doing? I'm a villain yet here I am helping an hero...I need to find my place. I need to get it together.

We walk into my room. I look around trying to find a black latch box. "Whoa, this is your room?" She said amazed. You're so weird. I didn't realize I started smiling until I saw Emma looking at me. "Yeah, it's awesome. Okay, we're looking for a black box." I replied straight to the point, and going back to my side of the room to look around.

"Oh, you mean this box." She says immediately after my response. I look at the black box she's holding. "Yep, that's it." I took the box from her, and place it down on my night stand. I open the latch. Perfect!

"A compass? Oh to go to Neverland, or better yet to lead me to a castle with my name on it." She said in total disbelief. Does she believe in magic? She has to, she has powers. "I see you've read the fairytale stories in Xoruma." I said slightly amused.

"I see you have too." She said smiling even more amused. "What gives you that idea?" I asked. What makes her think that I would read those books? Yeah, no. "How would you know those are fairytale stories if you haven't read them?" We're wasting time. "Fine, my parents read them to me when I was a kid. Do you want me to help you or not?" You are making it very hard to even like you at the moment let alone help you.

"Only if you insist." Emma replied still smiling. Can I slap that smile off?

Relax.

"Okay, here's how it works. You take the compass, and you have a clear image of what you're looking for, then we follow where ever it points. The image has to be specific!" Should be simple enough for her.

Be nice.

She doesn't know what I'm thinking!

She gives it a try, and the arrow spins out of control, pointing everywhere only to land on me. "Okay, it works." She mumbles. She tries again the second time. This time the arrow points straight north. "Um, does this actually work? Why would it be pointing north?" Does she even know how to work compasses? "For starters that's where the door is." She brushes pass me clearly annoyed that I said that.

We go outside and now the arrow points west. I wrap my arm around Emma only to be flipped over, back flat on the ground. I look up at Emma whose clearly annoyed, and furious. I hope she realizes that I am too!

"What was that for?!" I asked mad, slowly getting up. "'What was that for?' What were you even doing?" She asked about to push me down again if it wasn't for me already moving out of the way.
