Chapter 8

                A week has gone by and not only have I’ve been having the feeling of someone following me but I’ve also noticed Oliver trying to make me jealous by kissing ever girl near me. I’ve read his mind a few times and he gets upset when I don’t seem bothered by it. He still mixes up Zeke with Deac its kinda funny.

                Walking to my last class of the day I was stopped by Marie I looked at her as much as I wanted to hit her it wasn’t her fault for Oliver to cheat on me with her for all I know she might have thought me and Oliver broke up. I solely put the blame on Oliver. I stared at her and decided to worm my way through her mind.

                {I have no idea why I stopped her but I did. Oh damn it I don’t know what to say the deal was to get her to stop walking for a minute or two damn it maybe I’ll apologies but I don’t want to. Plus if Oliver didn’t cheat on her she would still be dating her no matter what other people would have told her. Seriously that guy is a manwhore f*cked a girl from high school last week oh I should say something she is staring at me with a weird look} She opened her mouth to say something but I walked away seriously she stopped me because of a deal with someone. The feeling of someone following me intensified I would have run to my class by how freak out I was getting but I figured to act cool and calm.

                I walked into the class room and saw Zeke talking to some guy I quietly walked up to him and decided to read his mind something I don’t do often because he knows when I do so.

                {So this is the guy Haillee is dating I need info from him where is that girl though. Oh there she is behind him. Smile at her be polite that’s all I was asked to do was befriend her.} I cocked my head that’s weird I was trying to read Zeke’s mind not that guys but I feel even more uncomfortable now. I looked at Zeke and kissed the back of his neck where I know he is the weakest I feel him shudder from my kiss and turn around. He smiled at me I looked at the guy who I accidently read his mind.

                “Hey Hails this is Joe he always sits in the back.” I looked at him and smiled kindly I want to know his true motives are just the way he thinks is weird or should I say suspicious.

                “So what’s up with you and that guy over there that is glaring over here?” Joe asked I looked over and saw Oliver glaring at us with intensity you would think I cheated on him instead of the other way around. I turned back around and shrugged in all honesty I don’t know why Oliver is glaring at us if he cherished me so much he shouldn’t have cheated on me.

                The class ended almost as soon as it started. I looked around the room and saw through one of the windows a dark shadow, but it was defiantly of a guy. I felt my hitch in my throat but I’m not going to show them I’m terrified hell I’m not even going to let myself feel this fear I’m Haillee Kari Storm soon a detective this does not scare me.

                As much as I wish this is not true I am terrified but will I tell someone no I won’t because if I tell them I’m scared I’ll have to tell them why I’m scared and I don’t want to tell them I’ll hold it till I’m dead. I closed my eyes and counted to ten when I opened my eyes again I saw Joe standing over me. I cleared my throat and threaded my mind through his again I need to know who he really is and what he is after.
