Chapter 100

It was black outside indicating the presence of night ; the dark night but it has its own charm because of the moon and stars shinning brightly in the sky..giving a hope of light in darkness , possibility in every impossibility , love in hatred and moreover a bright morning after night...
Nandini was standing in the garden of their mansion with her arms folded across her chest and was quietly looking at the sky , having stars scattered everywhere...she was looking at the stars as though they have created a spell on her ; hypnotised her...her trance was broken by the sound of the horn..she looked in the direction of the horn and saw the guard stopping that person from coming inside the mansion..."kaka kon hai ?" Nandini asked going near the gate..."bibi g soha madam hain" guard said "soha" nandini whispered and the flashbacks of horrible night came in her mind when she found her friend was the one who kidnapped her and was trying ton snatch her husband from her.."welcome soha... Aaj kaisy ana hua ?" Nandini welcomed and asked her without getting scared and said it with full confidence..."i was just missing my old friend..and thought of meeting my soon to be husband..'manik'.." Soha said boiling nandini's blood....
Nandini's pov
How dare she....how dare she tried to call my manik her soon to be husband...
Dumb ! She is
She thinks she will easily get manik...
"But see na manik is not at home" soha said making a sad face.."lagta hai u really have a bad luck" I said faking sadness "u'll see babes...manik is all mine" soha said and left..as she left I ran inside the mansion ; climbing the stairs and locked myself in 'our' room...a minute ago i was sounding confident but what happened......?
Did i lost that confident....no one ! No one will take manik away from me....
Ayiaappa....plzz do something..manik is my lifeline..I can't loose him...my hands joined by themselves to beg for manik n mine togetherness....i heard a familiar sound of horn..

I cleaned my face which was covered with my tears...I opened the door and saw manik climbing the stairs with carrying his laptop case in his hand...he looked up towards me as i was standing in the doorway.."hyy...all good?" He asked coming close to me and pecking my forehead...

My mind was filled with different thoughts ; whether to tell him or not..after thinking i finally said "yeah..u tell how ur day ?" I asked trying to sound normal.. He moved inside and placed the laptop case on the couch and turned towards me..."how it can be ?? I was just missing you" manik said sliding his right arm around my waist slowly...."what did she say ?" How dumb i am... I must have thought that he will surely come to know...
"Kya kaha is ny....did she cross her limits ?? Tell me I won't leave her" manik asked..i sensed anger developing inside him..."manik..relax..she didn't say anything for which u shall go behind her" i kept my hands on his chest and asked him to calm down..."its just k " I am such a stupid... I was going to tell him what she said but i stopped in between..."k ?" Manik said in a tone asking me to continue..."nothing na..u just freshen up nd then we'll have dinner.." I said diverting the topic trying to out of his grip but he was manik malhotra......(end of pov)
"Don't change the topic and tell me what did she say or else i will go to her place right now " manik threatened nandini in a polie manner to which she splitted out the truth.."she said k u will be her husband soon...she said k she came to meet you.." Nandini said and tears started rolling down her eyes.."sshh... Bus...I won't leave u coz even I can't live without you" manik said embracing her and kissing her head numerous times..."you know na its just her fantasy.. Don't let her silly thoughts to effect you " manik said breaking the hug and cupping her face and wipped her tears..."now stop crying" manik said and again engulfed her in his arms.......
After almost two hours manan were lying in the bed hugging each other after having dinner...."nandini" manik called nandini to check whether she was awake or asleep but he got no response...he bend a little and saw her sleeping.. Without disturbing her sleep he tucked her nicely in the bed and came out of the room and dialed someone's number... "Hello...sorry to disturb u yaar cabir pr tujh sy aik kaam hai.." Manik said to cabir.."bol na bhai...why these formalities?" Cabir asked manik to continue.."i told u na k we have to keep an eye on soha...from now onwards we definitely have to...she is upto something" manik said.."pr hua kya..?" Cabir asked as he was clueless of the thing manik was talking about.. Manik narrated him the whole story of soha..." Bhai tu fikt mut kr..nandini meri behn hai..i will make sure k she is fine " cabir said from other side of the phone..after discussing few things they both hung up the call...manik moved inside his room and saw nandini moving as a sign of her getting up from her sleep may be due to manik's absence....manik got into the bed and took nandini in a hug before she woke up .... He stroked her hair for sometime and was all the time looking ay her angelic face till he too slept........
Next day brought new changes in life...sun was shinning on the top of the head...it was hot outside due to summer and looks like sun was determined to earn his full wage that's why he was doing his work with full force....it was afternoon and nandini was busy in some file work sitting in her cabin of the hospital...she heard a knock on the door and letting the person come inside she came to know of the person brought to the hospital and is in need of quick operation as due to to accident his blood circulation has been stopped in his nerves of the brain...nandini without waiting for a second left everything and rushed towards the operation theatre accompanied by some nurses...she went inside the operation theatre after watching pathetic condition of the patient's family who were shedding floods of tears and where panicking...few tears formed in nandini's eyes on feeling their pain but she wipped them off and started with the operation....
Nandini's pov
He was lying unconscious on the bed with me and few nurses standing around his bed...he wasn't bleeding..he fell from the bike due to slipping of tyre and got serious injury....if he bleeds then it would be good for him to recover but his it's not happening like that...
Ayiappa please give me strength to give good news to his family....
I prayed and did the operation...he can be of 26-27 may be.......
After spending a good time in treating him I came out and after taking off the mask from my face i happily told "woh ab theek hai...he just need rest...abhi woh hospital mein hi rhyn gy .." I gave the news and instructed them .....i was talking to her sister who after listening me took me into a bone crushing hug...i was taken aback for a moment but i too kept my hands on her back to calm her down..."thankyou...thankyou so much " she was all the time thanking me...."sorry" she said after breaking the hug may be she thought she became too emotional..."thankyou" another girl in a salwar suit said to me and i recognised her as patient's wife..I after replying her left for my cabin..I sat on my chair and threw my head backwards ; closing my eyes and trying to get normal...
"Ohh.." Suddenly realisation took over me and I picked up my phone which was on the table....."10 missed calls" I almost shouted on seeing missed calls from my hubby....
"My love?"
"Where ?"
" if u r busy then call me as soon as you are free "
"I am going at recording studio with everyone "

I read manik's messages and.....again his messages made me smile...I packed my things and after picking my bag up and went to see the patient who was still unconscious due to heavy dose.....i left for the parking lot where my car was parked with a driver waiting....i sat in the car and left for my mansion.....on the way I called manik who picked it ip on the second ring only...(end of pov) hey" manik said "hy...woh actually I was busy with the operation " nandini told manik "ya it's ok.....acha...don't stress urself and have your lunch " manik instructed her "ok baba...u also take care " nandini said coming out of the car as she reached the mansion ...."manik agr tera romance khtm ho gya ho tou aja " mukti shouted on manik which was audible to nandini and hearing her tease nandini blushed.."bye manik " nandini said asking him to go "I love you " manik said "I love you too manik " nandini said and both disconnected the call...nandini pushed the door of 'their' room and went inside keeping her overall and hand bag on the bed..she took out black tights with a black and red check shirt and went inside the bathroom to take a shower and relax herself...she came out of the bathroom drying her hair with the towel and kept the towel at the back of the couch....suddenly her eyes fell on the packet kept on the side table of the bed....nandini picked it up and opened the brown paper to reveal a letter...she opened the letter which had....
'Nandini....don't think u will win...remember one thing..manik is all mine....don't dare to come between us or else you won't be able to see him ever....' Tears of losing her husband formed in nandini's eyes and she keeping the letter in her hands ; she went downstairs ; picked up the car keys from the table and moved out of the mansion to get seated into the car on passenger's seat...she ignited the engine and left...she drove the car as fast as she could and stopped it in front of the recording studio where manik was...she cane out of the car and started running when she spotted manik and his friends coming outside while talking...as soon as she saw manik her tears turned into unstoppable flood and she ran towards him...manik's eyes fell on a figure coming towards him and within a second he recognised her his wife...manik became worried on seeing her here...nandini rushed towards him and clinged to manik...manik on feeling her crying , hugged her back tightly to which she tightened her grip on him...everyone was shocked on seeing nandini in such state...cabir picked up the paper from the ground which fell from nandini's hand and was crushed till now but it could've read easily....cabir read the words written on the letter loudly and everyone came to know the reason of nandini being in such state.....nandini slowly broke the hug and looked into manik's eyes which were already looking at him...."no one can ever separate us " manik said and kissed her forehead...he took her in a side hug and walked towards his car..."guys i think we should do something with this soha " alya said "exactly...hamein kuch krna chahye" mukti seconded alya....
"Mani" nandini said holding manik's hand stopping him from going anywhere as soon he made her sit on their bed and was going to bring her water...."I'm here only.." Manik said sitting on the bed beside her and hugging her..."now sleep...I am not going anywhere "manik said adjusting her on the bed and stroking her hair in order to make her sleep...after few minutes manik felt her even breath..he looked down at her angelic face and saw her sleeping....manik kissed all over her face making sure that she doesn't wake up..he slowly moved out of bed and went towards his side after calling his friends and telling them about their well being...he laid down and took nandini's petite frame in his mascular arms...he wasn't sleepy at all and was just guarding her from devilness of the people.....
Next morning nandini lazily opened her eyes and saw manik staring at her with a smile on his lips..."good morning my star " manik said "good morning " nandini replied in a sleepy tone while rubbing her eyes and she received a kiss on her lips from her manik....manik instead of a peck turned it into a beautiful morning kiss in which both were responding with equal fervor...manik pulled nandini on top if him deepening the kiss...nandini without arguing gave him the opportunity of entering her mouth ; marking her totally his ; their salivas mixed , they were running out of oxygen but were in no mood to apart their lips which were moving in a sync....finally after long morning kiss they unwillingly broke the kiss and were now panting heavily.."don't leave me ever " nandini warned him politely panting heavily..."never ever" manik said nandini kept her head on his chest putting her whole weight on him..."don't move.." Manik asked her lovingly as she was getting up because manik's phone buzzed..."ya..hello" "ok" "we'll be there " " ok bye " manik talked on phone while nandini was making circles on his chest..."baby" manik called her lovingly to which she looked at him as a sign for him to continue..."today we are having launch party for our album...you will come na ?" Manik asked her "ofcourse mani...i'll go " nandini said after which she got out of bed and was going to the get freshen up but manik pulled her and she landed on bed in his laps..."where do u think you are going ?" Manik asked tucking few strands of her hair behind her ear..."to freshen up" nandini said avoiding eye contact with him...."and where is my morning kiss ?" manik asked her "abhi tou di thi " nandini said "acha..?? I don't remember...or agr di bhi thi tou kya...?? Can't u give me one more ?" Manik said dramatically..."manik leave me " nandini tried to protest...."not this time baby " manik said and pushed her on the bed coming on top of her..he started tickling her filling the air with her laughter...manik just did to make her smile in which he was successful....
It's said that you can only laugh whole heartedly and cry sharing your pain in front of the person you know well and in nandini and manik's case tgey always do the things they love and share their pain in front of each other...mates our the ones sharing each other's happiness and sorrow , success and failure , luck and bad luck , whatever it is they go through the same face....true love always teach to make other happy forgetting about their own smiles...usually people say that there is no one true love in this world anymore...there is hatred , revenge and only compromise but true love exists..it will exist till fire flies glow and stars shine.....
It was evening till now and nandini was standing in front of the mirror adjusting her hair...she looked drop dead gorgeous in black knee length formal frock with a pair of silver diamond danglers shining like a star and was wearing black heels....hair tied up in a beautiful fishtail flower bun complimenting the look of her dress....
