chapter 11

They were having their breakfast with teasing and pulling legs when suddenly manik's phone buzzed..he excused himself and went out as he saw the caller ID. "Main ne kaha that na k don't call me again phir tumhn kya chahiye. I gave what you wanted than why are you disturbing me again and again..now don't ever try to call me or come in front of me..do u get that." As he hung up the call in anger , he turned around to join his frnds when he saw nandini staring at him and had a smile on her face. He tried that nothing happened and moved towards her giving a fake smile.

"Tum yahan. Acha chalo andar chalo or else cabir will again get a chance to make you blush..and at that time I want be able to control myself from coming close to you." He said trying to divert her attention and pulling her close to himself by holding her waist. "kya chupa rahe ho." Nandini said understanding his tricks..
"Nothing...don't put so stress on your chotu mind." Manik said touching her forehead but she being zero percent convinced said.

"you know na you can't hide anything from me."

"I am hiding nothing my love. Seriously." He said cupping her cheeks but not looking in her eyes as she can read his eyes and tell that what type of state he is going through.

"Is it nyonika....and don't try to move my attentions." She said pointing his index finger to which even the fake smile on his face faded away hearing the name of the most selfish mother in the world. Actually she is not worth for being called as mom. She is only concerned about herself nothing else.

He nodded and said.."Nandini you know what when I was a kid my parents always fought with each other I never saw them talking like a normal husband wifes and nyonika malhotra who is unfortunately my mom can't be given that level. She ruined the relation of mother and a child. She never read stories for me..she never sang lullaby for me. She never made me sleep in her laps...sh she she did nothing." He ended and tears welled up in his eyes he looked at Nandini who was now in tears as she listened manik speaking what he never did.

She remembered her own time and clinged to manik who took her in a tight hug as it was the only place that make them calm and quiet. They kept standing over there for some time..they moved apart and manik cupped her face and said..."I'm so"  Before he could complete she covered his mouth with her lips to which he pecked at once.  "Manik you are the reason behind my smile. You are the one who gave me a reason to live. And I am happy at least u said everything and let out your pain that you have kept with you from so long." She said looking into his eyes. As she finished manik smashed his lips with hers pouring all his love in that kiss..his hands made a protective grip around her waist while her hands ruffled his hair. They kissed like there was no tomorrow. He broke the kiss as he felt her grip tighten on his collars. He rested his forehead on hers..both breathing heavily.

He moved few loose strands behind her ear and peckedbher forehead and then her lips and said..."I love you nandini..I love you soon much" Manik said panting heavily..."I love you too Mani." She said lovingly. He again captured her lips with his and kissed her gently and holding her delicate figure securely from her waist. He broke apart and said..."When you call me that than it is impossible for me to keep myself away from you. You are a drug Nandini." She just smiled at his confession

Scene shifts

Everyone was sitting the lounge and manik was talking on a phone. As he hung up the call and announced in happiness.."Guys we you all have one day and tomorrow there is a party for the success of malhotra industries and dad said k he wants to organize the party in Goa as I told him about our trip. So,preparation have been done just you guys have to be ready." as Manik said girls especially Alya became tensed as she doesn't had anything formal with her but manik made them realiza that we have one day and we can easily shopp for everyone.
