Him:

It's been one big storm for 3 weeks.

In those 3 weeks, I haven't seen Lyric.

The School has been shut down for the past week because we can't get outside without getting blown away.

I've tried texting Lyric, but she doesn't answer.

My arm has healed a little bit, but now it just burns and aches.

Currently, I'm working on my Media project.

I'm taking a picture of the rain that's on my bedroom window.

I take about 5 and then look at them.

I look outside, and I see Elliot.

He looks soaked but somehow he doesn't care.

I open my window and the storm has calmed down a little bit.

"Lake! Come down stairs and meet me in the woods." I can hear Elliot say over the rain.

"Okay. I'll be down in a minute!" I shout.

I close my window and put my shoes on and my waterproof jacket.

Mum and dad are watching TV in the basement and River is in the shower.

I open the front door and walk outside.

It's freezing out here.

How long was Elliot standing there?

I run through the rain and into the woods.

"What are you doing out here?" I ask.

"I need to talk to you." He says.

"About what? Is lyric okay?" I ask.

"She's fine. But you're not."

"What?"

"Lyric says that you touched her hands without her gloves on." He says.

"Yeah. So?"

"Your arm hasn't healed yet, has it?" Elliot asks.

"No. Not yet."

"The storm hasn't blow over yet. Your getting mad that Lyric is not texting you back. Your worried about her."

"How do you know?" I ask.

"Because ever since Lyric touched your arm, the weather has been awful."

"What does the weather have to do with me?" I ask.

"You can control thunder now."

"I don't know what your talking out. I can't control anything." I say.

He reaches down to the floor and picks up a rock.

He hits me over the head with it and then thunder rumbles.

"Sorry, but I had to find a way to prove to you that you have an ability. Lake, come with me." Elliot says.

"To where?" I ask.

"To Lyric."
