Firehouse 51

Chapter 7

Dawson's POV
I cannot believe Severide would do that to Shay. I never saw him doing that because that would have been terrible but now it's even worse considering that she is most likely pregnant. Once I get a hold of that guy I'm going to beat his little butt and give him a piece of my mind. Oh great, there he is now!

(Dawson is bold and Severide is italics)
"Severide, we need to talk. And don't you dare try to walk away from me. Care to explain your self and how you were such an idiot?"
"I don't know, okay? I just got bored I guess but it was a mistake and I didn't think she was actually going to get pregnant, how do I fix this? Help me please"
"How could you do that in the first place? Sneaking out in the first place? What is wrong with you?"
"Have you talked to your own boyfriend about any of this?"
"Yeah, he thinks it's messed up and that your an a hole. He doesn't understand how you could do that to her, and don't you worry because him and I will be there every step of the way because you couldn't be."
"Wow, ya know, that's actually really funny he said that because he was one of my drinking buddies that snuck out. I lied when I told shay that everyone left and it was just me and the bar tender who was a woman. Casey was also there at that point and it just so happens that the other bar tender was a woman and the two woman were roommates. Casey did the same exact thing that I did, except I left before him so maybe-" dawson cuts him off.
"Your lying. Casey wouldn't do that to me. He wouldn't hurt me like that and he would've told me by now. Please tell me your lying." At this point Dawson was sobbing.
"I'm sorry Dawson I wish I was but it's the truth. I wasn't supposed to tell you any of that but it's for the best that I did. Go talk to him."
"Oh trust me, I'm going to."

Casey's POV
All morning,ever since the whole shay and Severide thing happened, I've been looking for Dawson but I can't find her. I'm really hoping she didn't talk to Severide because I'm sure he would have told her the part about me. The truth is I cheated on Dawson. I was way more drunk than Severide so when the bartender invited me into her room I said yes. Severide was smart enough to get away after a couple kisses, I however stayed the night. I can't tell Dawson that though, she would be crushed. I'm just going to talk to her and act like nothing ever happened because I can't break her heart. There she is now, oh my gosh she's crying, why would she be crying? Immediately I start to worry that she's hurt.
"Gabby, what's wrong? Are you okay? What happened?"
"How could you?! You cheated on me, and all this time where we talked about Severide cheating on Shay you said how much of an ass he was for doing that but you did something ten times worse. You slept with her didn't you?"
"Gabby please, let me explain. Give me a chance to-" gabby slaps him and totally cuts him off.
"I don't want to hear anymore excuses from you. You had sex with another woman and you weren't even going to tell me. I'm done with you, and I'm done with this relationship. Don't even try to talk to me. I can't believe you would do this especially since you said you would never hurt me. I don't even know who you are anymore. Goodbye Casey."

Shays POV
I'm laying down on my bunk when I see Dawson rush past crying into the bathroom. Immediately I run in after her. When I get in there I hear sobbing coming from the showers and once I open the right one I see her wrapped up in a ball, rocking back and forth just crying her eyes out. It breaks my heart because I hate seeing her cry like this. I sit down next to her and wrap my arms around her letting her know I'm here for her.
"I don't know what happened so don't feel like you need to tell me. But when you are ready to talk about it, I will be here. I am not leaving this spot until i know you are okay. So just cry and let it all out, rage if you really need to, i'm here and I will listen to every word you say. Just let it all out and when you are ready to tell me what all of this is about, I will be right here to listen. I'm here."
"Casey, he, he cheated on me. Severide lied. It wasn't just him and the bartender. Casey was there too, as one of his drinking buddies who snuck out, and there was another bartender who was a woman. The bartenders were roommates, and the one invited Casey to her bedroom and he slept with her. Severide was smart enough to leave, but Casey stayed the night. Shay, he cheated on me. He promised me he would never hurt me and he cheated on me. How is this possible?"
"I don't know gabby, I really don't know. But I do know that Casey doesn't deserve you and that it is all going to be okay. You, me, and my baby. We're going to be the three musketeers, and it is going to be fine. I love you Dawson, and I'm going to support you through this."
"Thanks shay, I love you too, and don't you worry...I gave Severide a piece of my mind."
"Good, he deserved it. Casey just better watch out."

I meant what I said about Casey needing to watch out. The one promise he said to Dawson he broke. I thought what Severide did was bad, but this, well this is just ten times worse. And I do know that both of those boys aren't gonna know what hit them when the three musketeers come together. They both better watch out. There's Casey right now, shoot Severide is with him. Oh well, this will show Severide what he screwed up.

"Matthew Casey, get your butt over here right now."
"Shay, I can explain. Just let me-" shay cuts him off.
"I will be doing the talking so shut up. How dare you do that to Dawson when she is madly in love with you and you promised her you would never hurt her? Before you even say you were drunk and you weren't thinking right, bull crap. Yeah, people do dumb things when they are drunk, but no matter how drunk they are, they should always be thinking about the loved ones they are betraying. I don't want to see you any where near Dawson and don't you dare try to talk to her or get her to forgive you. You broke her heart and you need to realize that. I'm done with the both of you, that means you too Severide. I don't even know who you guys are anymore."
I'm walking away when all of a sudden I hear something being broke from the locker room, I run there immediately and what I see breaks my heart.
