Chapter 14: Cute Crushes and Carter Mallory

Emory's P.O.V

We pull up out the front of the Blend Hut. 

I have run over ever scenario in my head there was a 50% chance it was good news and a 50% chance it was bad.

I jump out of the car banging on the hood for Shor to hurry up. I'm extremely anxious.

Shor jumps out placing his hands on my cheeks.

"Shor come on we don't have time for this" I say his hands still on my cheeks.

He pulls my face towards mine kissing me tenderly.

"Calm down Em, I'm sure everything is fine, and if it isn't I'll be right there with you" He says taking my hand and we walk in hand in hand.

"Rose whats wrong?" I say running up to Rose who is sitting in a booth, but never letting go of Shor's hand, just kind of dragging him behind me.

He's currently standing behind me, our hands still interlocked while Rose stares him down.

"Nothing wrong, I'm just being a good older sister and making sure, that Shor here is good enough for you.

"ROSE YOU SCARED ME HALF TO DEATH, I THOUGHT SOMETHING WAS WRONG?"

"Sorry sissy, now would you go order me my usual, I forgot my wallet" She says giving me a big cheesy grin. 

"Sure, Shor do you want something" I say 

"No I'm fine thanks Em" Shor says obviously feeling the heat from Rose's glare. 

Shor's P.O.V

"So Shor Leslie Mallory" Rose says and  I give her a surprised look, no one knows my middle name, it's a family secret. "Yeah thats right I did my research" She says raising her eyebrows.

"Have a seat Mallory" She says nodding her head towards the seat at the opposite of the booth, I sit. 

"So, your dating my sister? When did you start liking her?"

"Yes, I am dating Em, I liked her from the moment I saw her" 

"So how long do you plan of sticking around?"

"As long as she'll have me i'll be right there beside her" 

"Good answer next question" Rose trails off staring at something behind me, jaw dropped.

"Here Rosie" Emory says 

"Get out of my way!" She says pushing Em out of the way and continuing to stare dreamily at something. 

Emory sits down next to me and I whisper to her "Whats she looking at?" 

"I do not know, it's obviously a boy thats her I spy a hot boy face" Emory says back. 

"This isn't just any hot boy!" Rose yells "It's the most godly looking boy I have ever seen"

"Which on huh the boy in the blue, or that on in the black or the one in the tie dye, please dont be 3 strands of hair guy" Em says looking in that direction. 

"No it's the blonde in the blue shirt behind 3 strands of hair guy" At the same time my and emory both peer our heads around.

Emory and I snap back to our seats 

"It isn't?" Emory says to me 

" I think it is" I say back

We both peer around once more before returning to Rose and grinning evilly.

"What?" Rose grumbles

"I know him" Emory says 

"Me too" I say still grinning

"Oh god who is he don't tell me he's still in high school" 

"Nope" Emory and I say in unison

"JUST BLOODY TELL ME WHO HE IS?" She yells

"Hey Carter?" I yell motioning for him to come over. 

He starts headding over.

"Why would you do that I'm not prepped for him, do I look okay" Rose says frantically brushing herself down.

"Hey bro, mum wants to know if you'll be home for dinner?" Carter asks me. 

"Um no see I was thinking of going out to dinner with Em and her sister Rose" I say pointing to Rose. "How rude of my Rose this is Carter, Carter this is Rose" they exchange Hi's and I can see with the way Carter is looking as Rose he thinks she's hot. "Wanna tag along?" This earns me a beaming smile from Em and a sly glare from Rose. 

"I'd love to I'll go call mum now, if thats cool with you girls?" Carter asks Rose and Em.

"Of course Car your always welcome" Em says 

"Of course" Rose says.

"Okay I'll be back" Carter says walking off. 

"Brother?"

"Yepity yep yep" Emory and I say in unison 

"How could you just invite us out I'm not ready is there a possibility of me taking Emy home and you going home with your brother and use picking us up later or something, I look hideous and need to look better?" Rose says practically begging. 

"Of course, I'll go tell Carter, we will see you ladies around 7?" 

"7 sounds great" Emory says before kissing me goodbye.

I leave the diner and find Carter outside. 

"Mum said thats perfectly fine, where are the girls?" Carter asks

"There inside were gonna go home and get changed we will pick them up later" I say walking with Carter to my car.

"Oh okay sounds good, hey dude I took the bus reckon you could take me home?" 

"Of course" 

"Mate Emory's sister has got to be the hottest girl I have ever seen, those dark eyes and porcelain skin combined with that black wavy hair damn, she's perfect man" Carter says leaning against the car putting his hand to his forehead for dramatic effect.

"Dude really, you never think of girls like that, your always like eh she's hot eh she's alright" I say getting in as Carter does too

"I know but theres something about her man, she's unlike any other girl I've met she's has this twinkle in her eyes that tells me she's special" Carter says sinking back in the seat. 

Emory's P.O.V 

"Carter and Rosie sitting in a tree K I S S I N G first come love them comes marriage them come cute little babies in a cute little carriage" I sing as Rose drives us home.

"Oh shut up, he's so hot" She says dreamily

"Not as hot as Shor" I say equally as dreamily  

"Omg were both crushing on Mallory's" Rose says laughing 

"Weird, I like it" I say laughing. 

We pull up out the front of the house, and we both race in. 

"We have 2 hours till the boys get here, ready set go" We yell as we both dash up the stairs and down the hall separating at our rooms.

I begin getting changed into something appropriate that'll hopefully make Shor as flirty as he was today. 

I'm excited for tonight, so many possibilities. 

A/n: So this is kinda just a build to whats gonna happen with next chapter I'm not sure wether use will be happy with it but it's a story, use aren't going to be happy with every part.
