**Emily's POV**

"Come on."

"Where are we going?" I asked still on the couch.

"To get clothes so you can stay here at my place, now lets go before I change my mind and make you go commando." I rolled my eyes at her weird joke but still smiled because I always sought them to be a little funny at least.

Her red Toyota was parked in the parking lot. She stopped about five feet away from it. "What is it?" I asked.

"I haven't driven my baby in so long!" She shrieked and ran to her car dramatically.

"Haydn. Lets go. Lunch hour traffic is going to be horrendous." I yanked the passenger car door open and climbed in. Her radio played quietly through the car and we road mostly in silence. We don't have much to talk about. We got everything out between us this morning when she got here, but of course she had to get here and wake me up at 6:30; earlier than I wake up for work.

It's 9:30 now; close to 10. I was right about traffic. So many people were trying to drive around and get to somewhere to eat even though it was early, and I'm sure it being a Saturday afternoon doesn't help with much of anything. It took Haydn every bit of an hour and a half to get to my apartment and when we arrived there seemed to be plenty of teen age girls crowding the streets.

Weren't there like boyfriends for them to hang out with or something instead of running around the sidewalks like chickens with their heads cut off? We parked a block away and made out journey to the front of the building. We literally had to dodge the running teenage girls so we wouldn't be tackled on accident.

We reached the rusted door of my apartment complex and walked into the musty building. Floor 8. That's where I lived. In apartment number 8056 that was located at the end of a too narrow hallway. Next to my door was a window with a view of a nicer complex across the street. I tried not to look at it much. I wanted to be thankful with what I have; not daydream how my apartment would look if I could afford a place like that.

"Those girls acted like they were on a scavenger hunt looking for Justin Bieber and it was a matter between life or death if they found him or not." Haydn joked.

I threw my head back and laughed slightly while we rounded the final corner until we got to my apartment. I stopped in my tracks at the fight of the body at the end if the hall. Their back leaned against the wall, knees bent slightly, almost reaching the other wall. Their head was slumped and they were looking at their phone.

"Or Harry Styles." Haydn murmured. She thought I hadn't heard her, but I heard loud and clear. He looked up from his screen. We just kind of stood there looking at each other. This kind if infuriates me. How does he have the nerve to come around and show his face? He's come to beg for forgiveness. That's it; it's got to be.

"What in the hell do you think you're doing here?!" I shot at him. Harry stands up from where he was sitting and slid his long black phone into his pocket. He moved towards me.

"I came to apologize for the way I acted yesterday. It was a weird situation that I have never been in before. I didn't know what I was supposed to do." He defended.

"You didn't know what you were suppose to do? How about comfort me instead of sitting on your side of the table looking at me like I'm an idiot. Tell me that they're going to find Darcy and that I need to stay strong."

"I did tell you they would gind her."

"Not in the way a mother would want to hear." I said harshly.

Harry opened his mouth like he was going to say something and then closed it again like he changed his mind. He looked down at the ground.

"Uh, I'll just be waiting in the car Em. Come out when you're ready to go." Haydn turned the corner and walked down the hall.
