Sylt's POV
The day passes by quickly, and I'm already hurrying home with a bag filled with work.
Dimitrio flies above me, happy to be out of my stuffy bag.
"Hey! Sylt?"
I turn around, my hair smacking me in the mouth.
I spit it out and I see who it is.
Dim snickers above me.
"Oh...... Hey, Halley."
She beams and runs up to me. Another girl follows her. The one who glared at me.
She stands behind Halley, her arms crossed over her waist. She stares at me, frowning, with ice blue eyes.
Halley looks back at her. "Oh! This is my bestie, Ash. Her name's actually Ashley, but she might kick you in the knee if you call her that."
Halley rambles on. I eye the the other girl's booted feet.
"So, do you live around here?" Halley smiles.
This girl smiles too much.
"Uh..... Yeah. Close to here."
She turns and winks at Ashley. "I told you he had that accent."
Ashley rolls her eyes, her mouth turning up at the corners.
I scratch the back of my neck. "Well, I better get going."
Halley nods, her long, brown hair bobbing. "Yeah. See you tomorrow?"
I nod and shift on my feet. "Yeah, yeah sure."
I hear Ashley's voice. "What's with the raven?"
I hurry away quickly and leap up the stairs and into the apartment.
I sit down at the dining table. Dim laughs as he flies in.
" 'See you tomorrow?' " He repeats with a falsetto.
"Shut up."
"Awwwww, Sylt is all grown up."
I throw a book from my bag at him. "It's not funny!"
But I grin as I say it.
Dim snickers and jumps onto my head.
"Yeah, totally not funny. Not one bit."
I shake my head and he falls off.
"Hey!"
I shrug, grinning.
I pull some books out of my bag and started working.
