"Mia, go to school." Derek Hale said  to her a day later. It was after she got knocked out by Kate Argent, she woke up that next day and there was Derek Hale, he was back to normal. She didn't know the how, and she didn't care.

"Do you need anything?"

"I need you to go to school," Derek told her, and she rolled her eyes for the fifth time. "Mia, I told you and your brother that I'd look after you. I have stuff to do, and you need to go to  school." He was practically pushing her out the door. But she guessed he was moody because of Peter. Last night someone  stole 117 million dollars from the Hale vault.

"Fine, but if you need anything-"

"I won't call." He answered, another eye roll. He waved her a goodbye, and she was off.

School was another story. Mia stormed through the hallway, knowing that Scott would kill her for being late, again. Mia was always running late. She ran into her English room, only to find everyone staring at her.

"Mia Lahey, how nice of you to join us," The teacher said, while shooting her at glare. "You're next to Liam Dunbar."

Mia returned glares with the teacher, adding a grinned, too. She pressed her lips together and sat down across the aisle from a blonde haired boy, it was the same kid Mason introduced to her yesterday.

The class ended finally. Mia ran to the hallway to meet her friends, Scott, Kira and Stiles was standing by Scott's locker.

"An ax murderer is out there on the street and you just want to stay in school and go to Econ and Lacrosse?" Kira and Scott both nodded at  Stiles's comment. "How irresponsible of you too. Hey, Mia." He waved to her but then rolled his eyes at Scott and Kira and walked off.

"What's up with him?" Mia asked. She must got here and had no idea what was going on.

They didn't answer her. Mia just stood there waiting for her friend to acknowledge that she was there.

"Mia?"  A voice said. Mia turned around, it was that boy from her class, the blonde from yesterday with Mason. Oh God, what on Earth was name? Liam, was it?

"Liam, right?" She said slowly, she was nervous. But he nodded at her words, she relaxed. "What's up?"

"Are you going to the lax tryouts?" he asked.

"Who's asking?" She smiled, he chuckled nervously. "Yes, I'm going, Liam. My ride is on the team." He stood there with his mouth open. It looked as if he was trying to form words, but they weren't coming out.

"I'm sorry, I never talk to pretty girls. I get nervous, anyways I think it would help me if I had someone out there." Mia's cheeks turned a rosy red when Liam said that.

"Are you any good? I know a couple players that a really good." She sounded more annoying the planned, and she hated it.  "Sorry that sounded annoying, it wasn't meant to sound like that."

"Don't apologize. And whether I'm good or not, you'll have to wait and see."

The day went by slowly but surely, and it was now time  the boys tryouts. Mia could tell if she was excited to see Liam or just sit outside enjoying the weather. Last year, Mia would love to just sit outside waiting for Isaac, it would get her away from her father for a few hours.  But this time she really couldn't tell which one it was. Maybe it was both.

It turned out that Liam was amazing on the field. He could do everything next to perfect, this made him more attractive to Mia. She would blush every time he'd make eye contact with her.
