Mia and her friends were back in Beacon Hills with a new passenger. Derek Hale was with them and the car felt more crowded than ever. But the car ride ended when they pulled in the Animal Clinic's parking lot. Derek had fallen asleep. The boys carried him inside, Mia rushing behind them, still stressed as hell. It was painful to him like this.

"Is there anything we can do?" Mia immediately asked Deaton, the Veteran, who owned the clinic, was looking at him all puzzled. He looked like the rest of them, shocked.

"Not at this hour, no." Deaton said to everyone. "Go home. It is a school night."

Mia had totally forgot about school the next day, everything had happened all once, and she wasn't  thinking clearly. She had more important things to worry about, her grades were close too perfect now the she didn't have her dad stressing out her about them.

"Yeah, but someone should stay with him," Scott said, when Mia was about to raise her hand, Scott turned to her. "Not you. You're going home."

"What? No, no way. We found Derek. Derek, the person that help me and my brother when our father died." Mia begged, but she could tell that it wasn't working. Scott had a look. "Fine, Mom, I'll go home."

Stiles chuckled, Scott shot him a look.

"I'll stay," Lydia Martin said, looking at both Stiles and Scott. "My grades are perfect."

And so it was settle, Lydia was to stay with him and Mia, Scott and Stiles when home. When Scott and Mia when through the door, they were silent, Mia walked on her tiptoes, trying not to wake Mr.McCall who was a sleep on the couch.

"Goodnight, Scott," She said, heading up the stairs. She was heading to the guestroom, which she had officially made hers a couple months  ago after Isaac left for France. They shared this bedroom, but she was alone now.

Mia went to school in the morning as she was told. She sat through class with her mind on one thing. How is Derek younger? That was it through the whole class lesson that one question. Mia was so distracted of having Derek back and getting him back to normal, that it never occurred to her how. Now thinking it through, she doesn't really care how as long as he was back.

"Mia!" A voice yelled her name when she was at her locker. "Mia Lahey!"

"Mia refocused. She looked around, seeing her best friend and another boy who she didn't know. "Mason?"

"God, you never listen. I've been calling your name for five minutes." Mason said, as he crossed his arms to his chest. "I want you to meet someone. Mia Lahey, meet Liam Dunbar." Mason stepped to the side letting the boy, Liam Dunbar, behind him step closer.

"It's nice to meet you," he said to her. "Mia."

"Same, Liam," she smiled at the blonde haired boy.  Mia had to admit he was cute, with stunning blue eyes. She sighed when she heard her phone buzz, shoving her hand in her pocket and finding out that the text was from Scott, saying that Derek got loose. She was to go to the police station. "Well, I got to run. Bye, Mase. It was really nice to meet you, Liam."

"Are you time traveling?" The sheriff of Beacon Hills asked.

Mia was at the police station with Stiles and Scott, who immediately caught her up in what was going. Apparently, when Derek woke up,  he attacked Deaton and ran out of the clinic. Scott and Stiles told Mia that he was younger in his brain, meaning he doesn't know any of them, and he doesn't know what happened to the Hale house, which was burnt down by Kate Argent, the one who did this to Derek.

"Time traveling, really?" Mia said, shrugging. She was sitting on the couch in the Sheriff's office. "We found him in a temple in Mexico."

"Stiles, you told me you were going camping," Sheriff said, he was frustrated. Stiles sighed and shot an angered look to Mia and Scott.

"We were camping, in Mexico," Stiles told his dad. "Can we talk to him?"

The sheriff said yes to letting the talk to Derek. They were in the sheriff's office standing  in front of Derek.  Scott and Stiles did most of the talking, Mia just watched. Derek looked terrified, worried too. He had no memory of the fire, or that his family burnt to death in it.  Scott promised to tell him the truth, but that didn't go over so well.

"Why did you lie to him?" Mia asked as her and Scott and Stiles waited by the door for Derek.

"Mia, Scott didn't lie. He just omitted certain truths, okay?" Stiles back up his best friend. "See there was no harm done." Mia rolled her eyes, not listening to a word Stiles said.

"Scott told him that his family is alive, tell me how that is not lying?" Mia said, crossing her arms. Stiles gave her a look, but Mia just smiled, knowing that she was right.

The plan that Scott made, involved Mia, Derek and Stiles waiting at Scott's house, while Scott ran errands.  The drive to Scott's house was short, down the block. Mia sat in the front, Stiles was driving, and Derek was in back, they were silent. The car halted in the driveway, and all three of them went in.

"Were going to sit here quietly and wait for Scott. We are not going to talk," Stiles tried to make that last part clear.

"Can I talk to her?" Derek asked, point to his right. Mia was walking next to him.

Sure you can, I'm Mia," She said with a smile. Mia kept walking until they were at the entrance of the dining room.

Mr.McCall was standing holding a bag of something. He smiled at Mia. "Hey, Mia, Stiles."

"Are you getting taller?" was all Stiles said to him. Stiles never like him, he was out for his dad's work, the sheriff's job.

"Who is this?" Asked McCall, point to Derek. What were they to do? Clearly, Mia couldn't tell him that this was Derek Hale, that wouldn't make any sense. McCall didn't know about the supernatural, and it wasn't Mia's decision to tell him.

Mia looked to Stiles, waiting for him to clear thing up. "This is my cousin, Miguel from Mexico," Stiles said, lying to him.

Mia didn't know how to keep a straight face. McCall asked them if they wanted to eat, and Mia Lahey was alway hungry. Dinner with McCall, Stiles and Derek was interesting, as she listened too Stiles making lame excuses about  "his cousin". Mia occasionally looked to Derek, biting her egg roll, then looked to McCall.

"Mr.McCall, you're an FBI agent?" Derek asked, breaking the smallest of silence at the table. "Do you deal with fires?" Mia almost choked on her second egg roll, as she looked up to Stiles.  She saw McCall nod at Derek's question. "Now anything about the Hale fire?" Another cough came out of Mia's mouth.

"Yeah,it's a sad story. Only two people lived, the rest died." Derek looked as if he was going to cry, when Mia said the she need to talk to the both of them upstairs.

"You lied to me," Derek said pinning Stiles against to the door of Scott's  bedroom.

"See, I told you, Stiles."

"Mia, not helping." Stiles muttered, still bolted up against the wall. Mia finally pushed Derek across the room and he let go of Stiles. "We didn't tell you because we could see you sad, I'm sorry, we should've told you."

"I want to talk to Scott," Derek demanded. "I want to talk to the alpha, now!" Derek start roaming around the room and Mia made Stiles call Scott.

"Sorry, Derek. We really should have told you, we just... we just were scared, of what you'd do." Mia tried to get him to stand still, but it wasn't working. "If there's anything I could."

"Why do you stick with them, Scott and Stiles?"

"Their all I have left," Mia told him. This led the a small bit of silence before Mia felt the air from the window opening. She turned her body. "Kate Argent," She barked. Mia swung a fist trying to stop her, but it was too late, Mia was knocked on the ground.
