The next day, Mia was anxious, ready to go out and fight for Scott, to kill for him. Her mind was swimming in thoughts of what she might do to Kate  Argent. Mia couldn't care less of Scott's no killing rule now, Mia wanted someone to pay.
Apparently, Kate and her berserkers were the ones who took Scott and Kira. And now, her, Stiles, Liam, Derek, Braeden, Malia and Peter, were on their way to Mexico to get Scott and Kira back. But right at this very moment, they weren't moving.
"Okay, let's get a move on," Peter said walking toward the jeep the him and Derek pulled up in. The parking lot they were in was dark, but Mia could see the eagerness in his eyes.
"Not without Lydia," Stiles said again. He was right, as much Mia want to go, they needed Lydia.
Mia was done waiting, though. Standing really close to Liam, Mia kept Rolling her eyes. They needed to Kira's jacket, the one in the Kira's locker, the one Lydia was getting.
"She has a car, she can meet us." Stated Braeden who was standing next to Derek. Peter agreed to this and everyone hopped in the assigned car.
She was next Liam in the black van that Braeden got for the beta. It was a full moon and traveling with a new beta, who was not in control, was not advisable. But Liam had to do this, for Scott, of course. And plus, they needed all the bodies and werewolves they could get, it was next to impossible to take  down a berserker.
After Liam was strapped down to the car seat by handcuffs, they were ready to go and on the road.
"See, told you, Mia, I won't getting out." Liam said as he yanked on the of the cuffs, they weren't giving.
"Just because they're safe now, doesn't mean they be enough to last a full moon," Mia had a pit in her stomach about bring him. He wasn't in control, and he was terrified of the berserkers. "But whatever you say, right?"
"Mia, I would feel better if you were over here," Stiles said to her, looking at both of them on the other side of the bench. "Liam, no offence."
"Thank you, but I'm good right here." Mia smiled at him as she watched him flash a grimace at her.
"Okay, Liam," Derek said. "I want you to hold this, it is a very powerful thing that has been in my family for hundreds of years." The tone of his voice was serious and real, but Mia knew the truth about Derek's triskelion. It was used to train Betas.
Stiles and Liam made eye contact with each, most likely thinking of the same thing. But then Derek shot them a poisonous look.
"Right, very powerful," Stiles said, slowly looking to Derek.
Mia backed Derek up on his word, telling him that it was super powerful. She was getting nervous, seeing as her boyfriend was going to turn into a out of control werewolf. But hopefully Liam was right, this will work, he will be control by the time they get to the church. Mia felt bad for doubting him, but there was a hint of doubt in her stomach. Don't worry, he's strong. By the end of the day, I'll be with Scott and Liam, and Stiles.
She had her eyes closed for about five minutes as she spun those good thoughts in her head. Mia was sleep deprived, and she was out, but it wasn't long before she jolted awake.
Mia was now trying to stay calm, concentrating on the plan and not on her boyfriend. The van was rocking back and forth, jostling on the road. It was loud, too. Derek and Stiles were yelling  different things at the same time, Stiles was screaming at Mia to get the hell away, and Derek was screaming at Liam.
"Liam, repeat this: three things can no longer be hidden, the sun, the moon, the truth." Mia said to her boyfriend, who was changing into a werewolf. She felt bad, remembering the painful memories of learning to stay in control.
He repeated the chant three times, Mia was  listening and watching carefully, as Liam stopped panting. He eyes were back to normal, and his claws were away. "I did it." He stated.
"We're here!" Called Braeden from the front.
"I could kiss you right now," Mia Blurted out, accidentally. Her face was hot after, and she saw Liam blushing a little.
"Guys, really? Get a room!" Stiles yelled, "actually, we don't have that kind of time. Let's go."
Stiles and Derek led the way into the old church, that was almost destroyed. Mia had an unsettling feeling as she walked into the church, that looked as if you touched it, it could fall apart.
"I think we should split up," suggested Braedan. "Stiles you take Mia, find Kira, we'll find Scott."
Mia hated the idea. "I don't think-"
"Alright, let's meet back here. If we hear anything we're running and helping."
Stiles practically dragged Mia in the dirt to get her to come. The hallways of the temple were covered with vines, and narrow.
"Have I ever told you that I'm claustrophobic?" Mia panted out, she swore that the hallways were getting smaller, and smaller, tighter, and tighter. "I just want you to know that, because, you're my best friend, and I think that I should tell-"
"Jesus, Mia, don't start the 'we are going to die' speech, okay? We're going to be fine, and get Scott in the process, and Kira, too."
"I wasn't doing that speech, 'because I don't plan on dying today. I was being serious, though. I tiny hate spaces."
She really just wanted to put that out there, not really seeing what Stiles thought of it.
"Well, that being said, you better not die on Scott and me," he told her.
They entered a bigger opening, that was at the end of the narrow hallway. Mia could breathe again. Mia alway heard moaning, and looking to her left.
      She found Kira.
"Kira!" Mia yelled, enthusiastically. Kira was sitting down on some rocks, covered in blood. "What happened, man?"
"Let's get you up," Stiles grabbed her arm and pulled her up.
She looked worried, not relieved as Mia would thought. She brushed off most dirt, and found her balance. Kira looked healed, but the dried blood gave Mia an uneasy feeling.
"Scott's in trouble," she said, almost automatically. Again, she looked worried. "He's a berserker."
They back tracked through the narrow hallways, and right into the main room of the temple. There, chaos was everywhere. Liam and Malia were slashing punches at the berserkers. Braeden was there with her gun.
"Stop!" Mia and Stiles yelled. Mia was growling now, everyone was too busy. "STOP!" She yelled out the top of her lungs. "Scott's in there. Somewhere."
Scott had Liam pinned to the wall. "Scott, it's me, Liam. Remember me, your beta?"  Liam went on, trying to dig deeper. Everyone was just watching.
The berserker- Scott backed up, away for Liam. He squeezed the mask the was made of animal bone, and broke it. Light shined upon him once it was done. But Scott looked unfinished, he turned to Peter. Who, not surprisingly, looked normal out of all of them.
Mia watched as Scott went after Peter, Malia helped too. But her and Stiles watch like it was a show. Apparently, they blamed Peter for the thing that happened. He was working with Kate.
Mia moved, Stiles held her back. "This is not your fight." She wanted to argue but she stopped herself. Scott has this.
Soon, Peter was knock out with Wolfsbane, out like a light, he rode in the hunters van, who showed up. Mia held Liam's arm as the waiting for their ride to get ready.
"Do you wanna go out with me?" Liam mumbled randomly in the car. "When we get home of course."
To be honest, all Mia was hoping to do was sleep, she wasn't thinking of going out.
"Can we sleep this off first?" Mia asked, innocently.
"Of course we can, babe," Liam replied.
She blushed at him, then rested her head on his shoulders. Mia had never felt so safe.
She fell asleep in her boyfriend's arms on their way home.
