Everything was dark. The sky was a strangely dark blue, the trees looked black instead of green. Everything else looked gray. Bill was standing at a crossroads.

This is not how I remember leaving things... Bill thought to himself. His thoughts seemed to echo. Where's Beast Boy?

It only took Bill a moment to realize he was in the dreamscape. His own dreamscape.

I don't dream...

Bill looked at both paths he was facing. One led into an ocean, the other led into a forest. This had to be some kind of obstacle, a riddle, a choice he had to make. He just didn't know which path was the right one. He stared at the ocean for a moment. It looked peaceful, calm. The moon reflected in the gently splashing water. Bill felt complete tranquility for a moment, which was rare for him. He usually loved chaos, but this was different. It felt...nice. In an odd and wrong way.

He looked toward the forest, but couldn't get a feel for it. It was dark and the trees seemed to curve inward the longer one might walk down the path. This was also intriguing to Bill, he loved mysteries and the possibility of danger.

How am I supposed to choose? Bill thought. What will happen if I choose the wrong one? Come to think of it, what will happen if I choose the right one?

No answer came to Bill, but instead a fading feeling. He was waking up.

No, no no no, wait, I have to figure it out!

The dreamscape became blurry, Bill felt himself being pulled away from it. He turned around frantically, trying to remember everything about this place in case he ever returned.

A second before his departure, Bill swore he was looking at Dipper's face. It was blurred, just like the rest of the dream around him, but his face looked tortured and almost angry.

"Dipper!!" Bill shouted as loud as he could, but his voice seemed faded like everything else. "No, wait!"

Everything went bright white.
