Daryl was now panting and freaking out, he didn't believe his ears. What the fuck did "Lori" just say?! Ricks shot...
"What hospital?" Daryl said, starting to rush out the door and climb in his motorcycle.
"Atlanta St.George Clinic."
"I'll be there."
"Oh and, how do you know Rick?" Lori said, clearing her throat with a quiet "ahem".
"If you haven't heard him talk about me then why should I." Daryl hung up the phone and started speeding down the road. He forgot to tell Carol that he was leaving but at that point he was too stressed to give a shit. Daryl raced through the sea of cars, making it evident that he was in a hurry. When he got to the hospital, he didn't care where he parked. He just needed to see Rick. He ended up not knowing where to go, so he asked several assistance people. They told him that Rick was on the third floor, room 317. He glided his way through the hallway, and then turned a corner to be faced with the numbers 317. He lightly knocked on the door. A women greeted him and he guessed it was Lori, Carl was sitting in a chair on the other side of the room. There was also that Jerky guy. The one from the coffee shop. Daryl was pretty sure "Shane" instantly remembered him. Carl walked over to Daryl, and swung his arms around him.
"Are you uh... Alright?" Daryl coughed out, he didn't like being touched. But he hugged back, this kids dad is in a coma... Why not?
"I'm fine... I don't know how long he's gonna be like that... I know you guys were really close." Carl said, letting go. Thoughts started to race through Daryl's mind. Rick said him and Lori were divorced... But Lori had a ring on her finger. Were they divorced?
"Um, *ahem* Daryl, were you and Rick friends?" Lori asked, smiling.
"Somethin' like that. You?"
"No I'm his uh, wife."
Daryl's brain practically exploded and his anger started to rise. Did she say wife? Did she just ducking say WIFE? Daryl could feel blood rushing to his face, and his first balling up. "I have to go, uh... Thank you... For callin' me." Daryl said before racing out of the door. He was practically running through the halls. There were some loud coughs while he was walking by, and then some gagging noises. It seemed like everyone had the same sickness. Weird.
Daryl got back to his bike and started to rush home. He couldn't believe this. Seriously... Rick was cheating on him. On his WIFE. Lori and him were married... The kiss was practically fake. Everything Rick told him was probably a lie. It's all a lie. Daryl opened his door and slammed it, making a few things shake on shelves. He fell on the couch and felt his eyes swelling up. He practically sucked up the tears and mentally slapped himself. What kind of bitch cries over some stupid kiss?
