Chapter 6: Ecstasy

Days have passed, at hindi ko na muling nakita pa ang pesteng iyon. Well. ano nga bang issue sa akin kung hindi ko sya makita? Uh, what the hell.  Good thing is that today's weekend, no classes. 

"Hey! Vernice! Meron ka na bang planong sosootin mamaya concert night?" Tila gusto kong pumatay ng isang magandang babae na naka-suot ng salamin. Ngunit teka, concert night? What was that?

Hindi ko nalang pinansin ang pag-alog ni Claire sa balikat ko, bagkus, ay itinakip ko nalang ang unan ko sa tainga ko. Ngunit...

"Gusto mo bang wakasan ko ang buhay mo?! Saad ko saka pumusisyon paupo sa kama. 

"Tanghali na kase, at isa pa, bilang normal, hindi ba't dapat ay nagiging aligaga ka na para mag-prepare sa sosootin mo mamaya?" Was thhat her way of saying na hindi ako normal?! Well, apparently, yes. I would never be normal at all. But that doesn't mean I'm abnormal! I rolled my eyes on her. 

"What's with that concert night?" Saad ko at saka muling humiga. 

"Well, concert night, only happen every 4 years. May iniimbita ang admin na mga Bands at nagkakaron ng party sa school ground." Uh, kung aatend ako ay sa tingin ko magugulo lang ang mundo ko.

Uh, I'm taking it back, now I was here, maingat na naliligo dahil baka mabasa ang sugat ko. If it wasn't for my favorite band, I wont. Mabilis na ako'y natapos sa pagligo and now, I was facing mirror.  

"Here, honey. Let me put your makeup on." Ani Maggy. Saka sinimulang lagyan ng kolorete ang mukha ko. After it, I face the mirror again. I guess I should sometimes trust Maggy's ability. She put a thinly makeup, to make me more natural, I guess. She just gave an effort in my eyes, it looks even more mysterious. To make me fierce, she made it more darker than my skin tone. And--- And I like it. 

"You look beautiful." I slay her a smile, with what she said. 

Nang matapos mag-prepare, we decided to go to the place. Mabalis namin itong narating, and wollah! Dapat pala'y sinunod ko nalang ang sarili ko na mag-hibernate for the whole weekend. there were lot's of students at the side making out. Gross! We choose to take a seat near the bartender. Halatang pinaghandaan ng mga tao ang kasiyahang ito. I also saw the red and black roses around. The black one? Where did they get that? Weird. Nagpa-alam ang tatlo na pupunta daw sila sa dance floor upang masilayan ang banda. I got no say to that. They can do whatever they want. I'm just feeling gorgeous with my black tube cocktail dress, which would make me look like a gothic princess. With a single black arm warmer on my left hand to cover the gauze. "Martini, please." Tugon ko sa waiter na naghihintay ng order. Err, why do you have to be so freaking cute?! 

Matapos ibigay saakin ang inumin ay sya ring pag-upo ng tatlong kalalakihan sa tabi ko. 

"Err, hey, cocktail hottie! What's up?" Tanong ni Lucas mula sa tabi ko. I can also see that Bruce is in their middle at sa dulo naman ang buwisit na iyon. 

"Lucas." I muttered. And took a sip on my martini. Well, I could also tell that this guys beside is freaking hotties, too. Wearing their leather jackets and stuff. Kumuha rin sila ng inumin well, yun naman talaga ang purpose nila sa party na ito. 

"So, how's the vaccine?" Natatawang tanong ni nito. I just rolled my eyes and took another sip. Hey! I'm enjoying myself here! Nagsimula nang tumugtog ang banda. Wow, they seemed to have a good taste in music. Lalu flowed at smooth ang boses ng kumakanta, female vocalist. And kinda It reminds me of "Florence and The machine" And the song they were singing is "Addicted to Love" And I so love that!
