One Small Bite

Chapter 7: The Eternity

It was hard, But I have to wake up, and feel the things around. And, yeah, I have a f*cking terrible headache. What just happened? Why is it all white? Why are there lot's of voices? 

"She's waking. But she's losing oxygen, do what you have to."  If I'm not mistaken, there were lot's of people-- white people around me. Damn it. Where am I? What are they gonna do to me? Why? Why does it have to be me?

"No! We can't do the experiment! Not yet! She might die!" Wika ng isang tinig na panigurado ko'y nagmumula sa babae. I felt a sudden pain at the side of my neck. And another one on my left upper elbow. I tried to open my eyes, but I failed. Shit, it's just f*cking hurts. But when I get into myself, I forcefully moved my fingers. Damn. And there was my vision who went back to normal. Lot's of masked people were doing some stuff into me. And some  were holding syringes and writing something in their papers.

"And our new guinea pig. Diabolically beautiful. What a waste!" I quickly transformed myself into the real me. And run towards that guy. When I reached him, I quickly punch him--- punched the glass that walls him. Damn it. At saka ko lang napansin na isa pala itong malaking bintana? oh, yeah, a see through. But, why am I here? Good thing at hindi nabali ang buto ko sa kamay. But it fucking hurts.

"You Russian sleep experiment freaks! What are you doing?! What are you fucking doing?!" Saad ko saka muliing dinagit ang glass window. Ngunit wala itong nagawa upang maapektuhan sila.

"Whoa, whoa. You're the one who come to us." I gritted my teeth. Hell,this guys familiar. Yes, he's that cute bartender. Yes, and I just saved that three hot guy's lives from his fucking drugs. But why? Why didn't I do the same thing to myself, too. And now, my stupidity takes place. 

"I won't! You just fucking did something!" At napa-ismid naman itong muli. I shed a tears as I fall my butt on this freaking white cold tiled ground. 

"Easy peasy, sweet lady. You would hate to see your sister or your brother lying in there, right?" At saka ini-abot ng isa sa mga naka-lab gown ang isang maliit na box. It was more on like a ring box. Atsaka nito idinikit ang thumb nya sa kung ano, which detects thumb print, I guess. And finally entered the room. 

"You're the luckiest person, you will be the first one to try our newest wonderful creation." At saka nito pilit na isinubo ang munting asul at mala-likidong namumuo na kapsula. Which made me forcefully swallow it. 

"Enjoy the Eternity." Saad nya. 

And just by the moment, I was't there anymore.

"Katie!" Screamed Danniella. I smiled. I missed her. She's home, and I'm not alone. 

"I missed you, Dannie! Bakit ngayon ka lang dumating?" I hissed, and turned my back from her. Geez, I was just waiting for her hug. At isa pa, wala na yatang makaka-resist sa isang babaeng tulad nya. She's beautiful, and she's gorgeous. She's a perfect diamond. 

"Katie, wag ka nang mag-tampo ri'an oh! Look what I have! Hindi ba't favorite mong author si Nicholas Sparks?" Then I looked at her again, she was holding a book, and smiling brightly, at ini-abot nya ito saakin. 

"Wow!" Napa-mangha ako ng makita ko ang autograph nito. "Thank you, Dannie!" Saad ko at sabay na niyakap sya. 

"Happy birthday, Katie." Saad nya at muling napa-ngiti. My face went back to a lonely kid. That people can see everytime that mom, dad, Dannie, and Vincy is not home. Yes, they were all busy lalu na sa business. And as far as I remember, tine-train na ang dalawa kong nakatatandang kapatid upang mamahala sa business nila dad. And I was here, going to school, with my friends. Eating alone, and just celebrated my special day-- alone.
