After classes were done for the day Naruto made his way home. Talking to Kurama within his mind about how all the stuff the fox could and would teach him. It just made him contempt and even excited to learn from the nine tailed fox and all its vast knowledge and support Kurama would give him.

He continued to walk not noticing someone following him. Yet, the moment he walked past a disfigured wooden wall he took a step back. He could hear the hushed whispers of a kid.

Taking a short glance at the wooden wall - conversing with Kurama within his head they both agreed the spy was sloppy in his attempt to gather information on himself and deducted it was a kid still in the early stages of the academy. But which one?

Finding out by reaching out his hand and pulling the thick cloth away revealing a kid who was a lot shorter then himself. He had a long blue scarf wrapped around his neck and cascaded down until it reached his feet; he also wore the typical 'kid' ninja gear along with a strange helmet on top of his head.

"What do you think you're doing?"
He asks, although it might've been interpreted as rude. "So, you've detected my special "hiding jutsu."

The kid remarks.

Naruto only had one word to describe this kid, idiot. And he had been called that on several accounts back before he had entered the ninja academy.

Although, he could commend the kid in trying his best to stay hidden and stuck with his gut to accomplish his task. There weren't many kids like that. Definitely not in his class that was for sure.

"It was pretty easy to detect when the cloth just covers your body. Since your body isn't vanishing," he shortly explains. "Got a name, kid?" Naruto adds.

"I'm the honorable grandson. " he speaks confidently. His smirk planted on his face.

The utter confidence in the boy when he told a villager that it was the main reason he could pull off such things.

No one would ever cross the honorable grandson of their dear Lord Hokage.

"Is that supposed to mean something to me? Besides I asked for your name 'honorable grandson' doesn't count. "

"Yes. " he says plainly. "Konohamuru. That's my name. " he adds.

"Konohamaru, then sorry it doesn't. You'll have to clear it up for me. "

"You mean you don't know?" he asks shocked for the first time in his life.

"Know what. Like heck would I know?!"

"I'm the Third Hokage's grandson..."
