//*Trigger Warning: Self-Harm*\\

As I walked down the hall and turned the corner to the front desk I saw a tall brown haired figure with his back turned towards me, talking to the secretary.

"LOUIS!" I yelled running into his arms.

"Hey Diana." He laughed while picking me up and spinning me around in a small circle. I waved goodbye to the secretary and grabbed Louis' hand as we left the building. When we got outside, somehow the world seemed brighter to me. The grass was greener and the flowers were pinker and the sky was bluer.

He led me down the walkway to a black car parked in front of the school and he opened my door and helped me get in before sliding in next to me. This wasn't a normal car, it had two rows of seats facing each other like the type of cars you see celebrities with in the movies.

"Okay, so Diana, thats Harry, Liam, Niall, and Zayn. Mates, this is Diana." I giggled a bit.

"I know who they are Lou. Biggest boyband in the world?"

"Oh. Erm. Right." Louis replied. Which made me giggle even more.

"I promise I won't fangirl though, it's gotta be annoying, I'd reckon, when nobody treats you like normal people."

"Pretty exhausting, yeah." Liam, who was sitting directly across from me, said. "It's an honor to meet you, Louis talks about you literally all the time. Are you a senior?" He asked me, probably confused why Louis picked me up at a high school. I nodded.

 "You talk about me but you can't talk to me?" I said harshly under my breath to Louis, before facing Liam and saying, "I'll be 18 on the 23rd." I felt Louis shift uncomfortably beside me.

"Monday?" Harry asked. I nodded in response.

I turned to Louis. "Sooo...?" He got what I was trying to ask.

"We have a break for a few months. We get a 3 month vacation each year to visit home. We will have an interview every so often, but mostly, it's our time." He explained.

"Yeah, every year, we agreed to visit someone else's hometown so that we can meet their families, on a less....worldwide scale. If you get that at all." I laughed and nodded at what Liam said. They don't want everyone to know what they did while they were on vacation.

"Wait. 3 months?" I asked. That meant Louis would be here for my graduation.

Almost as if he read my mind, Louis said,"I knew that you were graduating, so the boys agreed to come here." I gave him a quick side-hug. I was still upset at him.

"This is your house Louis?" Liam asked as we approached a small house near the edge of town. I found it odd that Louis wasn't going to be staying with his parents, but then again having five grown men in your home might be annoying.

"Yup. I bought this place a few months back, I knew it was a matter of time before we'd be coming here to visit and wanted you guys to not have to sleep on the floor at my parents." Louis grabbed my book bag and placed it in front of the door before handing a brass key to Harry. "You guys go in, I have some unfinished business with Diana." He gave me a smirk. He wanted to race. For years we would race down random blocks and I would always win. It bugged him that even though he was the school's star football player that I could beat him in a race, no matter the distance.

"To the end and back?" I asked. He nodded and got into position. The boys had decided to stay outside and watch us race. As Louis and I got in position to run, the boys picked sides and placed bets on who would win the race.
