The next morning I woke up and got ready for school. Jacob was waiting for me outside so I knew that he wasn't going to dump me, although he did look extremely pissed. Feeling extremely relieved, I ran downstairs and hopped into the car.

"Jacob I'm so sorry about yesterday afternoon. I made a huge mistake." I said, hoping for his forgiveness.

"Yes, Lola. You're right. I'm a seventeen-year-old boy do you know how hard it is for me? You can be so selfish sometimes it amazes me." he said, looking right at me with his eyebrows raised. I looked away when a small tear fell out of the corner of my eye. I'm such a horrible girlfriend, I don't know why he stays with me! I sighed to myself as we pulled into the school. I'm going to have to do some serious thinking about my actions.

I had almost forgotten about the run in with Tracy, when I saw Jacob's face light up. I followed the direction that he was looking in and saw Tracy getting out of a silver car and walking right up over to us. I suddenly felt sick with nerves as she locked eyes with me, smiling. Wait- why was she smiling at me? Yet again, she stuck her head in the window, boobs completely on view.

"Hey Jacob. It's nice to see you again. You are such a nice boyfriend to drive Lola to school! My ex boyfriend never did that to me." She said, smiling a completely fake smile.

"Oh so you're single?" Jacob said a little too hopefully. I was starting to get a little jealous so I stepped out of the car and grabbed my bags and walked over to Tracy, who had leant even further into the car to whisper something to Jacob. I was about to question what she was doing when she turned around to face me. Her smile looked almost sarcastic.

She stepped back and linked her arms through mine "I'm so sorry about yesterday," she said pulling me away, "I don't know what got into me. Friends?" I looked back to Jacob but he had already driven off.

"Okay friends I guess." I replied meekly.  As soon as she left to go to class I pulled out my mobile and texted Jacob. "What did Tracy want? Why was she whispering to you?"

I was sitting on a table by myself tapping my fingers impatiently waiting for a reply from Jacob. What would she have whispered to him? And why did she ask to be my friend right after? None of this made sense to me, so I came to the conclusion that Tracy was definitely planning something against me. I pretty much brought on the break up between Tracy and Sam of course she will hate me!

"Well hey there, new girl!" Sam said, grinning at me as he jogged over to me. I had already forgotten about all my stress and worries as soon as I saw my  new friend Sam. I still can’t get over the fact that a guy this good looking and popular is talking to me, and he actually likes me!

Sam sat down next to me and took a gulp of my orange juice. "Ahhh much better." He said, winking at me. I loved how he acted as though we had known each other forever. I smiled back at him and he asked me how I was finding my second day at school and we continued to have small talk until the teacher came in.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and realized that it was probably Jacob. “Nothing Lola, you don’t have to freak out about everything.”  I felt my face redden and my good mood from hanging out with Sam had instantly left. Even though it was just a text I could tell that Jacob, my own boyfriend, was lying and was keeping something from me.

A couple of seconds later my phone vibrated again. It was a text from an unknown number that said. “You Okay Lola? You’re looking a bit devo there!”  Embarrassed, I looked around the room to see Sam looking quite concerned at me. I smiled at him and picked up my phone to reply to him. “Yeah, everything is fine, thanks. :) just a little boyfriend issues as per usual. P.S. how did you get my number? Haha xo” Sam didn’t reply but instead turned around and winked at me. I guess he wasn’t going to share how he got my number.
