I woke up the next morning with my body entangled in Sam’s. “Morning beautiful,” he whispered, stroking my hair.
“Morning handsome.” I replied, grinning at him. I sat up and stretched my arms up above my head and let out a yawn. I stood up and quickly ran to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. “What are we doing today?” I asked, looking out the window at the rain.
“It’s shit weather so I was thinking we could just stay in and watch movies? Have a romantic day at home?” Sam replied.
“I’m just so bored of staying in my house all the time… can we go to yours?” I asked, pulling my best puppy dog eyes.
“I’m not sure who’s home but sure! Can I go clean my room and stuff and then you can come over in like an hour or so?” Sam said, turning on my shower.
“You don’t need to clean your room for me!” I laughed, smacking his bum.
“No I want the first day of you being my girlfriend to be special.” Sam said, wrapping his arms around me and kissing my shoulder. I smiled into the mirror at us and then walked out of the bathroom so Sam could have his shower. A few minutes later Sam walked out with a towel wrapped around his waist, the water droplets defining his abs making my mouth water.
I logged onto facebook while Sam got changed behind me. I had 47 friend requests in the past five days. I quickly scanned through them accepting only the people I know. Finally, Sam finished changing and came and kissed me on the cheek. “I’ll see you at mine soon, okay?”
“Yep! See you soon. Bye Sam.” I said, turning around and smiling at him. When Sam had left an unknown number started calling my phone.
“Hello?” I said into the phone.
“Heya babe.” Josh’s voice said in the phone. I felt myself smile a little bit at the sound of his voice.
“What’s up?” I asked, twirling my hair around my finger.
“I want to see you. Now.” Josh replied.
“I can’t I’m going to Sam’s house.” I said, unsure of how he would respond.
“Bloody Sam, he gets in the way of everything. At least let me drive you to his house?” Josh said light heartedly.
“Okay, see you at mine in a few. Also how did you get my number?” I questioned.
“I work in the police academy dumbass.” Josh laughed.
“Okay… See you soon!” I said, hanging up the phone. I wasn’t going to deny that I kind of was excited to see Josh. I had missed him a lot as I had gotten use to him being around all the time.
A few minutes later I heard his car pull up. “shit,” I murmured, realizing I was still in my pajamas.
“Hello?” He yelled, opening the door.
“Just a minute!” I replied, pulling off my pajamas and grabbing a fresh pair of bra and undies. After I put them on I opened my drawer and pulled out some black denim shorts and looked for a top to go with it. I heard a wolf whistle come from behind me and I quickly covered my hands over my chest. “I said wait a minute! I’m getting changed!” I yelled out.
