Just as the whistle blew for the Hogwarts Express, a cart of luggage rushed out from the barrier from platform 9 3/4.

Cillian Finnigan gazed in awe at the shiny train that released smoke from every surface of his vast body. Thickly painted red letters lined the side, providing a beautiful pattern to distract any boy's eyes.

Cillian's father, Seamus, came out from the barrier not twenty seconds after him, but when his hand was placed on Cillian's shoulder, he jumped.

The two remained quiet for a moment, admiring the beauty of the station. All around the station, redheaded, freckle-faced boys and girls ran everywhere. All the children were wearing brand new robes with shiny black ties, carrying the highest end books, bought only with the best money, and great big trunks, no doubt stuffed with their rich clothes.

A little way apart from the main group of redheads, there was a tall, thin man with messy black hair and think, round spectacles, hugging a small, chestnut-haired boy. Beside him, another boy watched from the door of the train, holding the handle of his trunk. A woman with beautiful, long red hair was at the side of a smaller version of herself; a small, thin, and pale girl with a ponytail of red and a small, white flower in her ear. From where Cillian stood, he gawked as he recognized the family as the Potters, family to Harry Potter, the hero of the Wizarding World.

The Potters had always sent Christmas cards to Seamus and Cillian, but they never actually interacted with the Finnigans. They were far too important to waste their time with them, Cillian knew. He had heard the stories his father had told him, however. Of the battle he fought at the side of Harry Potter, and how he was in Dumbledore's Army to bring down the wicked ministry member, Dolores Umbridge.

"Hey, dad," Cillian finally said, pointing towards the Potters, "isn't that Harry Potter?!"

Seamus adjusted his glasses, squinting through the mass of people on the platform.

"Merlin's beard!" He exclaimed after a moment of examining them. "I do believe it is, son! And look, there's Ginny, too! Why I haven't seen them in years! What do you say we go talk to them?"

Cillian's mouth went dry. See the famous Harry Potter? What kind of wizard boy wouldn't want to meet that man? Cillian nodded, aware that his mouth could not make any more noise.

"Brilliant! Well then, this is going to be a treat for us both!" Seamus said, eagerly walking over to the family.

The boy Mr. Potter was hugging finally separated from him and was about to go up on the train before Seamus tapped Mr. Potter on the shoulder. The man spun around, and it took him about two seconds to register who it was, but then, when he worked it out, his eyes grew wide and he embraced Cillian's father.

"Seamus!" Mr. Potter said, hugging him like there was no tomorrow. "I haven't seen you in years! Where in the world have you been, old friend? Are you well? How's Zelena?" Questions flooded from Mr. Potter's mouth, and rightfully so.

"Woah, one at a time, friend. I know it's been a while, but life has been busy, as I can tell is the case for you, Mr. Ministry Auror," Seamus nudged him with his elbow. "I'm well. My son and I have actually been on our own for a while, now, so Zelena is out of the picture. We have a quiet house in London, now! I always told everyone that I'd live in London, and now I do. It makes my commute to my little Ministry desk job faster, for sure. Anyway, who is this?" He smiled down at the little girl hiding behind Ginny's skirt.

"Ah," Mr. Potter said, taking his daughter's hand, "this is my daughter, Lily. She's a bit put out right now, what with both of her brother heading off to school this year. But the real question is," he turned to Cillian, "who is this? It just can't be Cillian, he was just a baby when I saw him last!"
