The hotel inside was spacious and beautiful. Cillian's eyes lit up at the children who ran down the stairs to greet them, all of them redheads. He spotted a smaller ginger girl, and she rushed to Neil's arms
, then he picked her up.

"Oh Neil, I've missed you and Rosey so much!" She whined.

"Aw, I missed you too Su!"

Neil looked at Cillian and Matthew, who looked a bit confused.

"Oh, sorry guys. This is my little sister, Susan. And this..." He said as another boy came up to him and Rose. "Is Hugo, my little brother-"

"You don't have to say 'little,' you know," Hugo said to Neil. "I'm already in double digits-"

"Yes but I'm eleven, and you are?"

"....ten..." He grumbled.

"Heh, exactly." Neil said, triumphantly.

A tall woman with brown hair came up to Neil and Rose.

  "Hello," she said.

"Mum!" The two children exclaimed at once as they rushed to Hermione's opened arms.

Cillian looked to the ground. Salem tapped him on the shoulder. He turned.

  "What's the matter?" She asked.

"Hmm? Oh, it's...It's nothing. Just really tired from the train ride, then that apparat--"

"Alright, if you don't want to tell me, you don't have to." She walked over to Phoenix and the girl named Destiny. They started to chat.

The crowd of people went into a large living room. The Weasley children all talked to their parents, aunts, and uncles about their half-year at Hogwarts. Cillian, Matthew, Salem and Jeana (Thomason) spent the remainder of that afternoon meeting the countless Weasleys. He (Cillian) met Destiny Weasley and her sister. The two could not be more different. Daphne was one of those girls that showed she loved dresses, nail polish, and all that girly stuff. Destiny, on the other hand, was more of a tomboy. You wouldn't catch her dead wearing one of her sisters' dresses.

He met Neil's siblings, and they all resembled him, in a way.

They all sat at the grand oak wood table. It barely seated everybody and the seats were squished in quite close to each other. When Cillian first took his seat, he expected Neil and Matthew to join him and be beside him. Instead, he was surprised when one of the Weasley girls sat to his right. She had shoulder length strawberry blonde hair, and she had the signature green Weasley eyes. For some reason, Cillian simply stared at her. She got comfortable in her chair, her eyes constantly falling on Cillian.

  "Something...wrong?" She asked nervously.

"Wh--what? No, no not at all. Just, Neil was sitting there, and so was Matthew, so if you please, I would very much appreciate it if you moved," he replied rudely.

"Mate, I'm right here, and I Matthew's not sitting with us, he's with Salem and Pheonix," Cillian heard Neils voice say.

The girl looked Cillian in the eyes and held out her small hand.

   "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to intrude. I'm Magnolia Weasley, I don't believe we've met. You're, Cillian, right?"

  He nodded his head.

"Oh good. Well, I know you may have plans, but there aren't really any seats left, but i--

"Maggie, you're fine. Right mate?" Neil said.

"Hm. Sure" Cillian grumbled.

 ---------------------------------------------------------------

The meal itself was grand. Everyone laughed, sang merrily, and talked about the holidays. Everybody was truly excited. Cillian and Neil were in their own room. Matthew was fast asleep, snoring loudly and probably dreaming about...NEVERMIND.

The two were going over all the names of the Weasleys.

"Destiny, Phoenix, Magnolia, Daphne,  Rose, Hugo, Destiny, Susan,--"

"You said Destiny twice," Neil corrected him.

"I Did?"

"Yep. It's alright, though. Not everyone can keep up with all the names."

  "Heh, yeah, no kidding."

"Say, You've never told me the names of your family. Well, except your dad, obviously, but still. I'd love to know more about them--"

  "Maybe another time," Cillian interrupted.

Neil looked a bit taken aback and also confused.

  "Why?"

"I just...it's not fun to talk about, alright?"

"Mate, I don't mean to push, but would you please tell me?"

 "No, not their names."

"Well then the story?"

Cillian sighed and looked at the ground as he started his story.

"Alright. Well, it all started with my mum. Me, my dad, and my mum. We lived like any other family, for a long time. When I was four, she gave birth to my little sister. We were so happy. That was before I heard my mum and dad arguing.

"They would have fights every now and then, like any other couple. But this was different. She finally found out that my dad was a wizard. She was terrified. She almost left us right then and there, because she thought that we (her kids) would be, 'freaks' too. My dad explained how usually wizard's show signs of magic at a young age. I hadn't experienced any signs, so my mum thought that maybe I wasn't one. Then, on my eighth birthday, I made my cake cut itself.

"She freaked, and she had a full out battle with my dad. He loved her, I don't know why or how, but he couldn't let her go. I remember my mum beat me with a hairdryer. In fact, I have a scar to this day. My mum took my sister, who was four, and she left. No goodbye, no apologies, nothing. I was eight.

"My dad broke down after tha'. He became depressed. I know that he was hurting, but I just don't understand why he didn't see that I was too. I lost my mum, and my sister. Then my dad started drinking. Then I lost him, too. Since then, he's thrown himself into his work. He's gotten over them, but I know if still gives him a pang when he talks about her. I've sworn to never fall in love or to have anything to do with girls because I know that I'll get hurt. That is, until I saw your family. You have a mum I would DREAM to have. You have so many family members that you need to rent an entire hotel for holidays. You have so much love in your life. That's why I envy you, mate. You have the one thing that I can never have."

Neil stared at the ground, his eyes dreamy. He obvioulsy saw how painful this was for Cillian to talk about, and he regretted even asking about his family.

"And what's that?" He asked after he swallowed hard.

Cillian looked at his best friend and looked sadly in his green eyes.

"A family."
