He's asking the girl to homecoming.
And the girl who loves him sits back and watches.
She listens to the girl scream and squeal over him.
And she nods and smiles.
Supporting her.
But as soon as she's alone.
She's crying.
She's curled up in a ball.
She's screaming into her pillow.
She's breaking her heart again.
As she runs his words through her mind.
And she's smiling at them.
And she's supporting them.
And she's watching from the side lines.
Because her Prince Charming is dancing with his Cinderella.
And now....she's writing this.
