Annie showed my the image in the mirror.

Annie showed me the pretty girls in the magazine.

Annie pointed and laughed at my face.

Annie told me I looked like an ugly duckling.

Annie helped me realize that I'm no so pretty.

I couldn't look in the mirror today.

So I watched Annie, today.

She didn't eat.

So I didn't eat either.

Annie wore heels and skirts.

I wore that too.

Annie didn't talk to her friends today.

Neither did I.

Annie only talked to the pretty girls.

So I tried to.

They were nice.

They invited me to lunch.

I asked Annie.

She said I should go.

Annie flirted with the cute guy in class.

I did to.

Annie didn't do her homework.

Neither did I.

Annie started wearing make up and crop tops.

So did I.

We died our hair blonde and painted our nails.

Annie told me I still looked ugly.

So I started to skip meals.

I painted my lips red.

And proved Annie wrong.

All the guys listen to me.

They text and call me all the time.

They ask me to come over.

I always say no.

Annie told me I should go one day.

I went without questions.

Annie dressed me up in a dress and heels.

I left with a coat covering me.

Annie said I'd be fine.

He asked me to stay the night.

I did. We didn't have sex.

Annie told the school.

Annie called me a slut.

Annie told everyone I sleep with him.

Annie told everyone I was sleeping around.

Annie had taken pictures of me while I changed.

Annie showed them around school.

Mommy made me change schools.

So as I paint these lips red and look I the mirror.

I can't help but see I'm now so much like Annie.
