I was sitting outside on the bench I had built years before still awake when Mina finally stirred from her sleep, I could her every movement she made, I heard the creak of the wooden floor as she stepped outside and gasped as she didn't know I was there "Oh Vlad I'm sorry, I didn't think you'd be up this early" I stood and walked towards her and spoke "I never went to sleep". She looked at me surprised "well you look as if you've had a full nights rest... Anyway, I was just heading to the village for some supplies, would you care to join me?" I nodded and put on my cloak as we headed towards the village. As we collected our supplies everyone was staring and we're whispering to each other, yet Mina seemed unfazed as smiled and finished up her shopping. "All those people were talking about us... They called you a widower, they called me a foolish man, how could you continue to smile" she stopped and looked at me with a tear on her cheek "oh my... I'm sorry if I upset you". She wiped away the tear and cleared her throat "I've felt witn them for as long as I've been here, it no longer affects me" I looked into her eyes "then why she'd a tear if your not affected by it" she smiles and blushed a bit "because.... They were insulting you". I smiled and continued walking back to the house and when we reached it she spoke again "Vlad.... Would you like to live her...with me" I smiled and nodded "I appreciate your generosity" I bowed in respect and kissed her hand softly as she turn a deep red and rushed inside. I walked inside as she was starting the fire and I offered her my help with the food, she gladly accepted as we worked for about an hour and when done we sat to eat the meal "that was fun Miss Mina, it's been years since I've cooked anything" she smiled "I've never never had anyone offer me help with cooking before Vlad... It was nice"

*four weeks later*

I've been living with Mina for just over a month now and it's been very enjoyable, I no longer wear my cloak as I have nothing more to hide... I've fallen for miss Mina and she has no clue of it "So any plans fore today Mina?" She giggled and looked over at me "I thought it would be nice to go for a walk in the valley today... Just me and you". I nodded in agreement as I began to pack a picnic for us and she went and changed into a beautiful white sundress "You look amazing" she blushed and I took her arm in mine as we walked to the valley "Um, Vlad I just wanted to....." I looked at her "You wanted to what?". She shook her head and walked faster and stood on the hill at the top of the valley, I walked up next to her as the sun was was going down over the horizon "It's beautiful here isn't it..." I looked at her nervously "Mina I need to tell you something that I've been wanting to say for a few days now" she blushed and turned to me as I took her hands in mine. "I want.... I um.... I..." She smiled "Vlad the impaler Speechless"
She giggled and I couldn't hold myself back, I leaned to get quickly and kissed her passionately as I put my arms around her, she was surprised but didn't stop me. I pulled away "I love you Mina" I smiled as she glared into my eyes then kissed me deeply and pulled away slowly "I love you too Vladimir... I want you as my own" I nodded as joyful tears began to fall and we kissed and help each other as the last of the sun's rays went over the horizon and darkness set upon the valley where I had had found love again....
