Chapter 6: Change

I looked over as the arrow pierced my shoulder and I growled in pain and looked around "show yourself". I looked up as another arrow was released and I caught it just inches from my face and I was filled with rage. A man stepped out from the shadows with his sword drawn and a grin across his face as he spoke "so what's in the box stranger" he glared at the ring box as I hid it in my cloak and gritted my teeth "that's none of your concern boy" I pulled the arrow from my shoulder and tossed it to the ground laughing. He looked at me confused "why are you laughing old man, we are going to kill you" five more men came out of the woods surrounding me and laughing. I placed my hand on my sword and drew it as the sound of the gleaming metal rang in the dying light of day "you have no idea who you are dealing with do you?"he looked at me and began to speak "oh shut your...." I attacked striking them all down except for the first man "I am Vladimir hellsing... Better known as Vlad the impaler... The son of the dragon" I bared my fangs and growled "so now you will die". He fell to the ground screaming and pleading.. "please s-spare me... Oh g-great impaler... I beg you" I pierced my sword through his shoulder and twisted it as he shrieked in pain "now you we I'll now my name " I pulled the blade and then put it straight through his heart "I ...am ...the no life king"...

*Mina's pov*

He will be here soon I have that feeling I get when he is near "I wonder how everything went for him today" I smiled and laughed sweetly as I though of him returning to me again... And possibly even more. I began to finish of the way as I saw a shadowy figure cross the window "he's here... Oh my he's early" I quickly cleaned myself up and grabbed the box and stood at door ready for him "come in my love... I've been waiting all day for you how di..."
I frowned as a large cloaked man walked in with a dagger in his hand "thanks for the invitation in sweet cheeks", I stepped back and dropped the box "who are you...where's my Vlad" he grinned widely and stepped closer as he spoke "he's no concern of your my lady". He lunged at me and grabbed me and held me to his body tight "you look hot. Maybe it's time for me to help you cool down" he pressed his waist against me and grabbed my chest and squeezed hard "ahh... Your hurting me" I teared up as I gritted my teeth in pain. He started rubbing my crotch and kissed my neck... I hated him touching me, havihaving his hands all over me.... I wanted it to end as I screamed loud and cried....

*Vlad's pov*

I walked calmly home as I cleaned away the blood from my sword and sheathed it "Damn fools... They choose the wrong man to attack tonight" I walked closer to home and looked up and the door was open "it's not like Mina to leave the door open like that" I walked up and heard a scream and crying "MINA!". I rushed in and looked around as I saw a man with his hands on my love, I growled with rage and bared my fangs as the man looked at me and held her by the throat. He grinned and spoke "shit.... I guess the party is over" my eyes glowed red as in a flash I grabbed his face and crushed it as he screamed in pain. I pulled him away from her and threw him out the door... He crawled away slowly and cried in pain as blood flowed from his face "I'm not done with you" I pressed down hard on his back with my boot and drew my sword and placed it to his neck "You... will.... DIE!". I brought my blade up and began to strike as Mina grabbed my arm "Please Vladimir.... No more death" that's walked up in her eyes as she looked at me and I dropped my sword and let him free "I'm sorry my love" I held her as I went inside and locked the door.

*two hours later*

After I calmed Mina down and we finally ate and we were sitting and talking when she gasped and covered her mouth "oh no... Your gift" she looked at the broken box with pieces of shattered necklace, I picked it up and looked at her as I noticed the pieces made up my family crest "oh Mina.... I'm sorry" she began to cry and I held her tight "I'm really sorry about the necklace" I reached into my cloak and pulled out the box "but maybe I can make up for it" I got on one knee and breathed slowly as I help her hand in mine "Mina... My greatest love" she smiles and cried more "I've felt love for since the day I first met you" I looked her in the eyes as the room grew silent "will you marry me.... And be mine forever", she cried tears of joy and hugged me tight "Yes Vladimir, I will marry you" I wrapped my arms around her kissed her deeply as I finally had accomplished my dream.... I had my queen.... my love.... my wife, and I would never let her go for as long as I lived. She smiled and yawned "I think we should get some rest... My count" I carried her bridal style to bed and she put on her gown and layed down "Vlad.... Would you stay with me tonight" she blushed and I took off my cloak and armor then layed next to her "yes my queen" I put my arms around her and held her close to me as she whispered "I love you Vladimir, I always will until the end of time" we kissed for what seemed like an eternity, then she slowly fell asleep in my arms "I am whole once again... And she is what has filled the empty space in my chest..." A single joyful tear fell down my cheek "your are my whole world, I love you Mina... my one true love"
