Chapter three

Whatever this world can give me, It's you, you're all I see.

~~~
For the past hour I have nothing to do because (1) my parents are asleep, (2) Brett's in an 'I can't fucking believe it' mode after I gave him the letter from Elyza. I clearly don't understand what's up with him. He won't even let me touch or steal a peek of what's in the letter. Anyway, (3) It's 12 mid-night, so people are not really that hyper and joyful as they seemed a while ago.
So me, I'm left alone, bored. I would refuse to sleep even if my eyes are craving for a sleep already. I mean, uh hello? This is an airport with lots of people you don't know. Why would you risk the idea of sleeping with bunch of strangers around you? Duh. Common-sense people, but then here's everybody, sleeping their way as if there's nothing to be worried about. *Sigh* . . .
I suddenly felt my pocket vibrate. Hmm, a text message!
I un-locked my phone and found three messages. I opened the first one.
It's from Kaitlyn . . .
Hi Kendra sweety! How are ya? Feeling great? Not? Text me;)
                   -Kaitlyn
After reading it, I proceed to text a reply.
Hi Kaity sweety! I'm feeling . . . well, normal. I wasn't feeling excited or anything, as you know me. He he. And our flight was delayed for two more hours. :/
                      -Kendra
I send it immediately, and proceed on opening the second message.
It was from Elyza . . . already? Ha ha.
Hey Kendra, um, it's stupid of me to ask this now but um, why were you at the airport again? °_°
                      -Elyza
I chuckled. Well, she never really asked though. Guess she was too caught up by knowing that Brett called her his 'girlfriend'. I mentally rolled my eyes. Yeah, girls. But hey, Brett's also acting weird. Not just a bit, but A LOT.
I text a reply to Elyza . . .
Oh, hey Elyza! Mind if I call you Ely? Yeah, so, the reason we're in the airport was we have a family trip to Paris ;p Anyway, how about you? Why were you in the airport?
                     -Kendra
So after texting a reply to her, I opened the third message.
I'm seeing things right? Tell me I was, please. Because I swear I almost lost hold of my celphone. The third message was from Draven . . .
Kendra, I know I was probably the last person you would expect, but I just wanna say I'm sorry. I'm really really really heartedly sorry for what I have done. Look, me and Natasha . . . we're not like what you think we are . . . please Kendra, just give me a chance, please. And please text me back?? :\
                     -Draven
I was closed to crying when I've read his message. I was . . . in-between sad, and angry, and hurt. I wanted so badly to slap him right now if he's here.
I refused on texting him back, I just tried to forget that I even recieved a text message from him. Then later on, I found myself seating next to Brett in one of the benches of the airport. I can't believe I was mirroring his look of 'I can't fucking believe it'. We were both now in silence, gawking at something so far away. If someone saw us, they would probably think that we're some sort of traumatized teens.
